I did not believe this book glue would work, but it does. Had a number of paperbacks where pages and sometimes whole sections had simply fallen out, very annoying. But you simply run some of this glue down the spine, stick the pages/sections back in (making sure everything is straight and even) and leave it overnight to dry. I put my iron on top of the book while it dries, and in the morning you have a perfect book again. Very satisfying.

I had been wanting a flexible PVA glue for years, and this is not the sort of product that you can buy in the high street.This costs only a little more than a good quality PVA glue, but it is what required where the glue has to adjust for movement.It is perfect for sticking book covers when parts are peeling back. To make the join strongest the glue is applied thinly and it will dry very quickly.

This is the right product for the right job. It mends the spines and covers of hardback and paperback books and stays flexible, and has a neutral pH.Do not use ordinary woodworking PVA for bookbinding - it sets hard and has the wrong pH balance..!

I read the customer reviews for this product and ordered accordingly. Amazing glue. I've many old books where the spine is splitting from the pages and on the only one I've tried it on it was a success. Look forward to repairing all my books in due course.

Does what it says on the bottle - have now repaired two Bassett Lowke catalogues from the 1920 and 1930s that were falling apart.
