Best hose by far
I purchased the 50ft hose last year and was very pleased with the quality of the product. Solid brass fittings although the hand nozzle is plastic but has many spray variations. Once the water is on the hose expands easily, no kinks to stop the water flow. It is light and easy to drag about and shrinks back when finished. Very easy to store either around the tap or on a U holder I purchased. Either way It is the best hose I have used and is very good value for money. I have now purchased a second 75 ft hose for another home.

Very good product
Light, easy to use and does a good job. Not sure about durability, but still doing well after about 3 years.

Rigid and spurting strongly.
Of the three expanding hoses I've bought these past 18 months, this looks like being the best by far. By which I mean it still works well since receiving it late May. The other two worked for a few weeks in one case and a few more weeks in another - but they didn't have the solidity of this hose. OK, it arrived with one end reduced to its component springs and bearings, but I was able to reassemble this without too much bother. (But it loses a star because it shouldn't happen). And whatever they say the hose DOES kink. Not a sharp bend which stops the whole flow, but a distinct reluctance to open out fully unless you take care to ensure it does so. If you don't ensure the passage is unimpeded you'll find the flow diminishes appreciably. If you do this it's a cracking piece of kit - very strong set of jets from the spray, and (so far) no sign of any problems of wear.I may well come back to this review in a year's time to let you know whether this is as robust when drained and stored over winter. But so far, so good.BUT: TWO YEARS LATER: Well, it's happened. A pinprick leak which has now, in the space of 20 minutes enlarged to Trafalgar Square fountains size. I'd had it hanging outside, fully drained over this very mild winter - and it's buggered. I know it's lasted almost 2 years longer than the other expanding hoses I bought previously, but still....2 years isn't good for £27.

CARE is needed as, whilst the gun attaches easily to the hose in the normal manner of simply pressing it in, the documentation does not make it clear that this is not the way it should be connected. Instead, you need to pull the metal ring of the connector back before pushing the connector onto the gun or tap, making a connection which is sound, solid, and non-leaking. I did not realise this and the hose would not go onto the tap at first, no matter how I pressed. There's something very tactile and entertaining about the way the hose expands and contracts, making the chores it performs so well less of a chore.Bought for my wife, who had reached her 'tether end' with lousy connectors, she is absolutely delighted and, once we have used it and proved it further, her husband will be buying one for the front of the house.

Poor water flow, poor reach, tap connection does not seem durable
I'm very disappointed with this product. You fill up the hose, then get about 10 seconds of spray then it slows to a tiny trickle. You wait a few minutes and then get another 10 second jet and so on. Also i bought this to replace a 10m hose that was not giving enough reach and this one is meant to be 75 feet but it's only about two or three more metres reach than the 10m one. The connection at the tap looks very weak. There is a brass connector but then a flimsy hose coming out from that which is pushing against brass and seems to me to be likely to tear against the brass.

Splashtastic!
Pretty good product! Don't know why I didn't purchase an expandable hose before now as I've always thought it was a good idea considering that our outside tap is in a small courtyard and a typical green hose was just too bothersome to use, messy to look at and was full of kinks. After research on the available options, I read that most people prefer solid brass connectors and this brand was recommended by some American website. Pleased to say that it works a treat, expands and contracts on use as you would expect, and keeps the area looking a lot tidier. The soft nature of the hose material would suggest that looking after it would help to extend its life, so I will be handling the hose carefully during use - eg making sure it does not snag on anything when it expands.Very satisfied purchase. The seller (Tengno1) has provided exceptional customer support. Above and beyond - faultless!

Great hose, but they should explain its water pressure requirements
The spray gun is great, it doesn't leak (at least not yet), and it has standard fittings, so I could use it with a Hozelock Round Mixer Tap Connector(maximum of 24mm diameter) (which does leak slightly). The only reason I don't give it five stars is that the manufacturer/seller doesn't explain anywhere that it will not expand to its full stated length unless the water pressure is at least 4 bars. I didn't realise this when I bought my 15 metre hose, which would more than sufficient length to reach the plants on our large balcony from our kitchen. However, we have only 2 bars pressure in the kitchen and as a consequence it hardly expanded at all from its "resting length" of 5.4 metres. But by stretching it I managed to reach outside the balcony door and could spray the plants from a distance. Not great, but doable.I think the manufacturers of these expandable hoses should state the amount of expansion for a series of various pressures. One of the few manufacturers who give information about pressure is Eiala ( Expandable Garden Hose EIALA Magic Hose Water Pipe [Improved Design] NO Kinks Never Tangles with FREE Hose Holder & 8 Pattern Nozzle / Spray Gun & Solid Brass Fittings & Universal Connector (50ft) ), stating: "Optimal Water Pressure: 0.4-0.6 MPa / 4-6 Bar. Max Water Pressure: 1.0 MPa / 10 Bar". As all expandable garden hoses are made more or less the same way, those figures are probably correct for most makes.

Ohne Druckaufbau also tricky. Diesen Effekt sollte man berücksichtigen.
