Better than Samsung
I'll start this review off by saying that yes, these perform better than the Samsung Live buds. Although the Samsung's do have one feature in the form of the adjustibe ear wing to keep them in place, these Mee Pebbles stay in play just as well and actually don't dig into my ears and cause discomfort.Onto the review. These are fantastic little earbuds. They pair super easy and stay connected to the device they pair with. Sound quality is actually really good but only if you have audio adjustment software that you can use such as the audio settings of a cell phone. I say this because without the adjustments, the sound output is a tiny bit lacking. They really shine with sound customization. That being said, I believe the problem other reviewers have had regarding sound quality have a lot to do with how they are worn. These are meant to be open-ear buds, not in-ear buds. This is evident by how far into your ear canal these go. When you put them on, if you twist them the way the manufacturer shows how to wear them, the go slightly into the canal but stay just outside it to give you situational awareness. This allows you to hear sound outside them. If you keep twisting, the further in they can go, creating a sort of seal like traditional buds do and the sound quality improves greatly. Diminishes their usefulness as pass through earbuds but you can easily just adjust them again without taking them out and can then hear more outside noise. I feel this adds to their versatility. This is essentially the same for the Samsung Live buds but their shape doesn't allow for the same level of adjustment like the Mee pebbles have. I will mention that the further into your ear canal these go, the more bass is present. Don't expect these to have stellar bass without first adjusting your sound settings and wearing them a little farther into the ear.The battery life is ok. And they charge quickly which is nice but don't expect to put them in their charge case for 10 minutes and get 5 hours of use like some other earbud companies claim. USB-C is always a nice addition to any rechargable electronics in 2023. Still surprised mini USB being used on other brands.Another thing I love about these is how small they are. And not just the buds themselves. The charge case is really small. I'd say about the side of my thumb, which is crazy. I don't even feel them in my pocket most of the time and the case hinge is strong enough to keep them closed and secure. As I have mentioned on other earbud reviews, these don't benefit from a dedicated app. This can be seen as a good thing as there won't be any need for software updates and they just work out if the box.All in all, great earbuds for the price. Looking forward to seeing more from Mee in the future.

Comfy Slim Fit Earbuds
After owning these for several months and going back to my previous set, and then back to these, I'm ready to share my thoughts. In short, these Pebbles have a lot going for them, from their comfortable design to the intuitive controls. However, there's one area where they fell a bit short of my expectations.Let's start with the positives. The comfort level is truly impressive. The slim fit design is not just a marketing gimmick – these earbuds sit snugly in my ears without causing any discomfort, even during extended listening sessions. The controls are a breeze to master thanks to the audio feedback that lets you know you've engaged the touch panel - this is a feature I sorely missed in my other buds and a game-changer when it comes to fumbling with tiny touch pad controls.Battery life is another strong suit of these earbuds. I can confidently say that they last a full 8-hour workday before they need a recharge. However, there's one area where these earbuds didn't quite meet my expectations – using them for sleep. While I had hoped that the slim fit design would make them comfortable enough to sleep with, I found that they still caused some discomfort when lying on my side. The protrusion of the earbuds made it challenging to find a comfortable sleeping position, which was a disappointment for me as someone who enjoys falling asleep to music or white noise. That said, I ended up coming back to them as my everyday earbuds over my admittedly better sounding and much more expensive JBLs - these easily win out when it comes to fit/comfort and the convenience of being a part of my daily carry. Plus, the sound quality is by no means bad and the battery life is close to double what I get out of my other sets.In summary, the Pebbles are a solid choice for anyone seeking all-day comfort and easy-to-master controls. Their battery life is impressive, and they're a great companion for various activities. However, if you're looking for earbuds solely for sleeping, you might want to explore other options, as the slim design might not be ideal for everyone. Despite this one drawback, I have found the Pebbles to be the best casual/everyday use set I own, mostly because of their small size, light weight, and overall convenient design. I hope there is another version in the future that is softer or smaller in a way that can be used for sleeping, but until then I have a feeling I'll be putting a lot of hours on these.
