Was what I paid and is perhaps fair value at that price. You get a small set of `Meccano' bits and may well have your engine running in a couple of hours, but I am a Sterling engine nut and so the finished result would not compare very well with the many small complete engines available for £25 or so. The kit would be fine for a 14 or even 10 with year old adult supervision but not at the £50 plus that it is apparently possible to pay. I passed my kit on to a youngster.
