Piper 45 Piece Flatware Set, Service for 8

We just bought this set. The design is simple but beautiful. Each piece definitely has some good weight to it due to the good quality. The dinner forks are quite a bit larger than the usual fork…definitely different. We are very satisfied with this silverware set and would recommend it to anyone. Well worth the price!

Purchased July 13, 3024– I have an expensive dishwasher: fast forward to 2 weeks of use: seeing “rust “ spots on the flatware— also mis-colors in spots on the knife blades-/ it is now Sept 8, 2024. Does EVERYTHING purchased these days have to be cheap junk!? So terribly dis-satisfied. Lovely pattern………. but………

Like the design and the feel of the product

Feels good in your hand and very pretty.

My old set of flatware had several missing pieces, lost at school, work or accidentally tossed in trash by a toddler. Now that the kids are older it was time for an upgrade. The set is lovely and funky pattern at the same time. It has a really nice shine to it. I typically wash dishes by hand and dry them immediately, so no issues with it only being 18/0 stainless steel. They look lovely and the old set is now residing near the lunch boxes, they can take what they want from that old set! The flatware comes with a nice serving set with super large utensils, sugar spoon and butter knife. The flatware has nice weight to it, not flimsy or cheap. I’m so pleased to have this set. My holiday set, the one that comes out only during large family dinners is the Oneida Michelangelo pattern which I’ve had for years.

I’ve been wanting to get some new high quality silverware and I love that this is a really big set. When I got them I just had to laugh because they are comically large. Like they must be made for very big people. I personally don’t even like using most dinner forks or the big spoons and stick to the salad forks or tea spoons but in this set even those are as large as my normal dinner forks and big spoons. The dinner forks are even larger than one of the forks I ended up with after working at the Cheesecake Factory for years. If you’ve ever been there you know their utensils are massive. If I tried to eat with the dinner fork I would probably stab my tonsils and the big spoons are as big as my regular serving spoons (no I don’t have them confused with the one set of serving utensils, those are EVEN BIGGER!). So while these are really nice seeming silverware and are a really nice weight and nice and smooth on all edges, I don’t think I will use them. It just doesn’t make sense for us to have a to of silverware in our drawer that no one in the house ever uses and it seems like a waste to only use half the set. If you are a very large person with large hands and a large mouth these might be just what you’re looking for though.

This flatware set from Oneida is a fantastic value for the money. It's simple, elegant, and looks great on my dinner table. The 45 pieces are perfect for a family of 8, and I love the classic lines of the design. The stainless steel is high quality and has held up well after many washings. Cleanup is also a breeze. I would highly recommend this flatware set to anyone looking for a reliable and high quality set of flatware. Five stars!
