We love this thing
We LOVE our Sodastream. We bought it after having had an old one for too long and we were surprised at how much more fizzy this one made our water. I don't need diet soda when I've got sparkling water to hand and it saves us having to recycle lots of cans or bottles. I don't see any downsides, really. We get air from Target. The small bottle that comes with it is perfect for on the go or if only one person wants sparkling water at a given time. The handle makes it quite fun. Not sure it's worth the extra $20 to have it, but it looks nice.

If you’re a daily user the co2 cartridge needs to be replaced more than I was prepared for. Cheaper than le croix I guess.

You can’t really go wrong…
I mean, if you’ve never had one this is a good entry model. It’s almost a crime to not own one if you’re into carbonation. Target and Walmart have the trade in refillable cylinder program making refills half the price of an outright new one.

Amazing
Ok this thing is amazing!!! It’s super cute compact for small rooms. Even works great with other liquids, just use less then what you would with water.

Cheap plastic
The first time I tried to put a co2 cartridge in a piece of plastic fell off that would lock the cartridge in place and I cannot seem to reattach it. Junk that looks like it was manufactured on a 3d printer.
