Tropica Aquarium Soil Powder,3 l

It’s not really powder, just a smaller grain than the normal aquarium soil. I find my carpeting plants remain planted when I fill up with water… i only use as a thin top layer.

Works like a dream, choose your plant you want to carpet or just a plant of your choice and it works magic, brilliant product

No rinse required which is nice. The water does get a little cloudy if you stir it up but clears up very quickly (within a few hours). Haven't had it in the new tank long enough to see how it does with the plants, but so far I am happy with the quality of the product.

First time using Tropica Soil and Soil Powder. I'm so impressed by the results. This is a great substrate for aquascaping. My goal is to grow Monte Carlo and Dwarf Hair Grass. I've tried before using other substrates and I was not able to keep the young plants submersed, they wouldn't stay in the soil and were floating at the surface. With this soil, it was so easy the plant everything. No floating, didn't detach from the soil. The young plants are thriving and growing fast and healthy. Both Tropica Soil are the same except for the size, the Powder Soil has finer granules which is ideal for keeping plants planted. I highly recommend this soil.

Tropica is the best for a reason and their soil powder really does work its magic on plants. It did not cloud the water and my fish love it while my plants thrive on this. All seasoned hobbyists will know that this is the truth.
