I don’t love the clear glass or plastic butter dishes because I think they look messy after first use. I also was looking for something that fit the kerrygold Irish pads of butter we buy most frequently (west coast style). This was exactly as pictured. It is plenty big enough for the butter sticks we buy. I like that it can be used upside down. Matches our kitchen colors and has a nice appearance. The ceramic seems like it is durable and should last a long time.

This is a very high-quality ceramic butter dish. It fits the large rectangular kerrygold butter perfectly. The ceramic is heavy, sturdy, and arrived in good condition. It's a much classier and elevated butter dish than the classic style.

This butter boat has generous dimensions, allowing for 2 sticks of butter to be stored in the boat. The ceramic is heavy , of quality. The color and the pricing is good. The flat lid means that a butter knife can rest on the surface. I would def purchase again.

Great product, good quality. Keeps butter fresh. Wish it had a handle on top to lift lid. My last two nice porcelain butter dishes cracked or I dropped it right above the sink. This lid is heavy and usually my hands are greasy and I pick up the lid very carefully. A handle on the top would have made it easier to handle but this was designed for a modern expensive looking addition to your kitchen. I don’t know how long it will take to slip out of my hands and break, my last porcelain dish slipped out of my hand a few inches above the sink and broke. The one before that broke the bottom of the dish in the dish washer. Holds two sticks of butter which is nice. Very easy to clean. I love the way it looks and it’s handsome design but when this one breaks I will return to plastic or stainless steel. Would make a great gift.

This is a well made and attractive butter dish. It’s the kind I was looking for, but my only complaint is I wish it were a bit taller. I have to shave down our one pound blocks of butter to make them fit properly. Other than that, it’s a great container.

Obsessed with this butter dish! I’d been on the hunt forever, and all the ones I find only fit the traditional butter sick size. This one fits the Costco grass fed butter so well! Seal and capacity are great, my butter is always fresh and easy to spread. The color and design are true to description and so cute to leave on my kitchen counter!

This dish is wonderful. It is extremely well made and has sleek lines. It’s beautifully styled. I have two butter dishes and wish my pioneer woman butter dish was like this in another color. It’s roomy for the large butter options we have now.
