Used for obd tracking.
Was able to use battery powered for obd tracking on vehicles. Works well.

OBD2 conversation from a 12V
Most basic of OBD2 cables. A simple power source from a 12V adapter socket and I was able to run a gps tracking device through the OBD2 connecter that it relies on. Happy with the result and quality of the cable. No issues.

If the seller provides battery connectors (ring connectors), much easy to connect to car battery.

Does not connect to the vehicle’s obd2 plug.
Useless to me, this is the obd2 side and not the side that connects to your obd2. I needed one to add solar battery maintainer to car. So I have since ordered one made to allow a battery to connect through the obd2 to maintain your memory when you disconnect your car battery. Check that this is the side that you need.
