Grimtec Bluetooth Wireless Mouse for PC, Mac, and Android OS Tablet with 12-month battery life (black)

Pretty good for the price. this is about the size of a normal mouse, not tiny and not overly large, just normal sized! It comes in a little cardboard box with basic instructions on how to pair it with a windows Bluetooth pc and change the dpi settings.Basically, put in the batteries (but don't use rechargeables... see below), turn it on (using the switch on the bottom) and hold the right mouse button down and it's in pairing mode. Then you need to hold down all three buttons (left, middle, right) for 3-5 seconds for it to connect. Then you go into your windows Bluetooth settings and Add a Bluetooth device. Mine showed up as 2 devices a QKIE BLE mouse, and a QKIE mouse. Using the QKIE BLE device mouse had problems, it would work after pairing but not after being switched off and on again. Adding it as a QKIE mouse (which only showed up after correctly following the instructions) had the mouse working correctly and reconnecting immediately when switched on/off.I'm using it with a Microsoft Surface Pro and it's fine.The build quality isn't premium, this mouse is light and has a slightly plasticky feel to it and has a little rattle if you shake it, but what do you expect for £8?? I have a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse on my main PC which feels more premium, soft touch, nice clicks, some weight to it, nicer build but that cost me £50! This mouse feels fine in the hand and has a design that works for either left or right handers which I always appreciate being a lefty. The middle wheel isn't free spinning but has a stepped feel to it and is also a button. There are 2 small 'thumb' buttons on the left side grip (really useful only for right-handers). The only other button on top of the mouse is a DPI button to switch between the DPI modes (1000,1200,1600).It's supposed to flash the red light when you press the DPI button to indicate that the DPI mode has changed, but I can't seem to make that happen. Nothing flashes that I can see, however, I do notice that the DPI mode has changed because the mouse pointer on the screen moves more or less depending on how many times I press the dpi button indicating the unit is reacting differently to the sensor.You switch this on or off using a slider switch located on the base.I've tried using Amazon 1.2v AAA rechargeable batteries with this, but after 2 days the mouse fails to work correctly. Stuck in a pair of duracell 1.6v non-rechargeable batteries and it's worked flawlessly ever since. There's a note in the instructions to indicate that it WILL automatically power down when not used for 5 minutes to save battery power, but I can't comment on extended battery life as I've not had this long enough, time will tell.The optical sensor works fine, I'm using it on a sofa cushion (see photos).Great little travel mouse for the price, even better if you have a Bluetooth enabled device that doesn't require you to add a dongle.

Once we got it paired with my sons android he loved it.

It does not seem to want to befriend my smart television. Which of course also has blue tooth. This may or may not have something to do with the fact that my TV does not have Microsoft installed. I don't know...but I cannot get the mouse to do what I intended it for!Naughty mouse.

Got this specifically for use on showbox through the Amazon TV and it keeps lagging. Installed a mouse apk that works much better.In regards to the actual mouse it is very comfortable to use, however the on/off button only works at times and you can't really switch the mouse off otherwise when not in use.

Like all Bluetooth Mice I tried on a laptop and a tablet. This also died after just a few hours usage and was unable to reconnect

Connects once per 5 tries and even then disconnects after a minute, totally useless.
