Novus Sapphire Earl Grey Tea Pyramids x 12 (Pack of 3, Total 36 Pyramids)

I usually only drink coffee but after tasting this tea a few months ago while out with my daughter I asked the waiter what type of tea it was. When I got home I looked it up and although originally a little worried at the price I made my mind up that I would treat myself to them. I was pleasantly suprised when they arrived and noticed the unique shape of the teabags. They are quite strong and one teabag easily does two cups of tea. It really is so tasty and has such a lovely flavour. I would recommend this tea as it does taste really good.

Great tasting tea bags, some of the best Earl grey I have tasted. Probably my favourite flavour....But, the string and tab are glued to the tea bag so strongly that when you try and remove it the bag splits. Lost half of the tea bags due to this even if you are delicate.We have saved ours to use in a tea pot strainer instead.

This comes very close to a Sapphire tea I've had before. Lovely fragrant tea will definitely be order again.

Having tried some other Novus fruit teas I was expecting these to be really nice, however I am very disappointed. They are nicely packaaged and come in a quality pyramid pouch. When you open the resealable bag, there is a lovely bergamot aroma, but when you brew it, there isn't really any taste of bergamot at all, it just tastes like a more delicately flavoured ordinary tea. In fact I would say Twinings Earl Grey tastes superior to this. I woudn't mind if they were a lot cheaper, but at about 30p per bag it is expensive for a poor cup of Earl Grey.

I first tried this tea in a local cafe and when looking at the tea bag I noticed that it had beautiful blue flowers, I wondered whether this was the reason for the name-sapphire. This was not the case for the product I ordered from this seller. The flowers were yellow (discolouration due to product reaching it's end by date?). The end by date was 2017. The taste was pleasant. Would buy again from a different seller.
