3M Sanding Block, 05519, 2-3/4 in x 5 in

Just buy this instead of the cheaper knockoffs. Likely will never buy another. Just a solid, indispensable, basic tool

My dad's lasted decades and this one is just like it so I expect the same. great quality.

I hand sanded a couple of shelves, then tried my orbital sander on a couple, but the sanding block seemed to be the best tool for my job. It was comfortable to hold, easy to control, and covered an area larger than my hand could. I will NEVER try to use a piece of sand paper just holding it in my hand again. This must be a classic tool because a carpenter I know who has long since retired used one of these. I borrowed his and loved it so much that I had to have one of my own.

It is nothing fancy, but it does the job it is meant to with no issues. I think it has just the right weight for light sanding in between layers of staining or sealing. it is comfortable to use and the sandpaper stayed in place.

The 3M sanding block is what you'd assume. For me, it's all about the weight. The rubber block has a great weight to it so that you don't really have to work as hard when removing body paint in my case. With the proper sandpaper and block your job should be relatively easy as long as you know what you're doing. If you're thinking right now, "Is this worth the money"? I'd say, "yes" simply because of the quality and fact that I'm sure you'll see yourself using this on more than one or two projects :-)

Works just like my Dad's, right amount of flex compared to cheap plastic knock-offs, grips sandpaper well, keep it handy right on the bench for quick touch-up work

I really like this sanding block. It's very easy to replace the sandpaper without it wanting to take my finger off like my dad's sanding block does. Comfy grip, easy to hold on to. No complaints. Would order again.

The pins that hold the sandpaper are bent the wrong direction -- and don,t line up with holes provided. I have had several 3M sanding blocks over the years, but these are now junk. No indication on the product that they are still US made, looks like chinese quality.

Rugged and effective, at least for my diy use. Happy to recommend - it will probably last a lifetime.

Tenía mis dudas sobre la manera de fijar la lija, pero está muy bien resuelto. Como todo lo de 3M. Muy fácil de ponerla y de trabajar con ella. Se adapta muy bien a la palma de la mano. Recomendable.

Bought this as a stocking filler for my partner, perfect weight and size (apparently) for his sanding down in the workshop
