What is the inside measurements?

If you purchase a 10”x10”x1”, your inside measurement will be the width minus 2x 1(depth) or 8”x8”. If you purchase a 10”x10” x 3/4”, your inside measurement will be 10” minus 2x3/4” (depth) or 1 1/2”= 8 1/2” x8 1/2” In other words, overall width less 2x depth which becomes your frame.

can i use this one for mosaic using glass/ceramic tile? it will weigh some. also can i nail for hanging purpose with mosaic art on it?

I'm not sure exactly what kind of background you need for ceramic tile, but this is rigid and solid, & seems to me that it would work. it doesn't twist or bend. If you add a nail you need to do it before you add your tile. i use it for encaustic so I can carefully add a nail and wire after the piece is done, but I really should be doing it before I work on it. How many inches thick are they? I will be using them to put spider plants on that are currently touching the floor.

I think they are 3/4 inch thick. I think you'd do better to get a piece of wood from a home depot or lumberyard for your plants- these are pricey for that.

This canvas works for string art?

I dont think they would work for string art. They are a framed piece of wood.
