Little kit comes with everything you need, evenly little plug drill tool. I like how it pops up if there's anything also. Thankfully I have not seen it popup! But I did buy this as a preventative and an alert system more than to deal with an infestation. Overall I've heard that this is very effective and I was concerned since I do have wood piles near my house. Keeps all of the termite food underground and safe for pets.

This product was easy to apply and lasts a full season. Works as described.

This is as described and it works I just wish it was made a little more clear that this is a fast acting poison and there’s not a great chance there taking it back to feed the colony. This is more of a monitoring device then you need to call a expert or purchase the 400.00 dollar slow acting bait stations

The green base of the flimsy and has broken many times when it is run over by a lawn mower. I honestly do not know if they are working as they should because the stick pops up when they get wet, or if there is actual activity. I called a pest inspector to come over and place a few industrial traps and they found nothing nor evidence of activity. I did try to save a few dollars with these only to find they caused me discomfort by popping off for no reason other than getting wet. That cost me more money in the long run.

Attention to detail is important to me. Especially when trying to deal with troublesome issues like termites around your home. The Spectracide Termite Detection & Killing Stake kit gives me great confidence that I'm doing it right. The stakes and collars are well built and easy to use and monitor. But what really impressed me was the auger that's included in the kit. This is an area where lessor companies could easily go "cheap" and disappoint the user. This auger is "STOUT"! My soil is full of rocks and is very difficult to drill into or dig into; it's really bad. Really BAD. My cordless drill went through 3 battery charges to drill the 15 stake holes. But . . . the auger held up beautifully. Yes, it shows wear and tear, but is still in ready to go condition. Amazing. Wish I could say the same about how sore I am today. Whew! But I'm really pleased how Spectracide put together this kit. Well done. I'll update this as the months go by on the stakes' detection and killing of termites. Cheers.
