good and bright
nice colour light, instant start but brighter than the previous 60w bulb (no bad thing for us). I always find different manufacturers claim different equivalent wattage so it's hard to know which is right. I'd recommend though, we like them.

I was amazed at the instant bright light these bulbs produced when switched on . Unlike the energy saving bulbs , which took ages to get bright when first turned on . Well worth investing in , plus saving energy ( electric ) .

Don't work with dimmer switches - but perfect replacements for 60W bulbs

1 out of 10 did not work. Light sparked a little before tripping the RCBO. Luckily I only needed 9.

Wow! Never thought I would say that about a lightbulb. The energy saving lightbulbs have always driven me mad-never lasting nearly as long as it says on the box and with only the slightest knock, the fine filament would break. So my sons boyish behaviour was costing a bulb fortune. I decided to look on here and buy these bulbs, not only for the cheap price but for the bulk buy-saving the grief of being in the dark until the next time I went to the store. I'm still on the first bulb and as it's in my boys bedroom- it's a bloomin miracle. And on top of that- NO BURNS. Having accidentally touched the bulb directly after an hour of being on- it was warm- not hot!! I didn't realise there were bulbs like this. I will only ever buy these ones from now on!!
