Great product. Took off the magazine base plates with ease with this tool. Careful not to pull base plate off quickly - quick pull is prone to deform the base plate.Pull off slowly and perhaps apply some pressure on the sides of the magazine. Pressure can be added with channel locks - with a towel covering either the channel locks or magazine to prevent damage

Sorry it took so long to write a review finally got to use it, great tool makes breaking down Glock mags super easy only issue i had was the edge that rests on magazine was a little sharp an cut the polymer alittle no biggie just fyi but that wad easily corrected with a small file
