This is a well made cord. Unfortunately between my phone, the cord and my TV there were compatibility problems. No fault of the product

Used laptop had a broken micro HDMI port preventing me from watching videos on my TV.

Got this to be able to hook an older tablet of mine to a TV for streaming while on business travel. Plugs on each end fit just fine but all 3 TV's I tried didn't recognize the cable. Thought it was just being in another country at first but when I plugged my phone in with a different cable, it worked fine. This cable doesn't work.

Sturdy-appearing and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Not sure what else to say. Certainly seems like it will be worth the price (though as a Vine participant, I did not have to pay for it), and it arrived quickly and without problems. As described on the product page. Functional.

The port on my Lenovo laptop is a Micro, and the port on my TV is an HDMI. I was looking for a Micro to HDMI converter cable to connect the laptop to my TV. Turns out this product is “Micro USB” to HDMI, and my laptop is “Micro HDMI”. I was not aware there was more than one type of “Micro”. And so this adapter is not compatible. We’ll chalk that up to user misunderstanding. If the cable comes in handy on some later device, I’ll update this review.I confirm the HDMI side of the adapter fits the HDMI port of my TV, and confirm the metal is gold-colored.

The cable does the job well with a solid connection and decent length for convenience.

Not sure how many places use this cable but if you have a camera with the output micro USB then this is the cable you need for viewing on a TV.
