can this operate led lights?

I have just installed this Photocell Light Sensor Lightswitch and it will not switch my LED lights on, I have checked the power feeding this cell and it reads 240v so I checked the return power output and it was only 126v ? Is the light sensor not functioning correctly?

Can you wire from the internal light switch to this and from this to two lights? So the switch is left permanently switched on?

I wired off an indoor switch that I leave permanently on and the outside light comes on just at night. Is that what you asked? There was something on the wiring that foxed me for a while but it was soon sorted, I don't remember what it was.

Can these be adjusted to come on at low light rather than pitch black?

Pretty sure there no adjustment on the module, to be honest though I haven’t looked, but I have noticed that this one turns on later than the one it replaced.
In theory, the lux level for switching is factory set, but I have seen them fitted with smoked/semi-opaque domes rather than the clear one that comes with this unit. Perhaps that’s an option to bring forward the switch-on and delay the switch-off.
As an aside, I have replaced the bulbs/lamps in the fitments at the rear of my home with smart bulbs - I live in Yorkshire, but have set them to turn on at ‘dusk’ and off at ‘dawn’ in Eastbourne. This seems to work better, and allows me to have them come on at 50% brightness (fine most of the time) and dim to 10% brightness at bedtime, then off at dawn. If I want them brighter I ask Alexa to turn them to 100%.
Works well as they are in WiFi coverage and they are large Edison screw fittings. The ones I control with this cell are are GU10, and there’s 23 lamps attached, so replacement with smart is an investment!

Will this operate with a 12volt dc supply?

This photo cell switch is only designed to work with 240v systems. NOT 12 Volts. 
On a 240v lighting system it will operate 6 Led floodlights in series. I use such a system to cover my farmyard very efficiently. 
If you need to floodlight a drive or yard using Led floodlights i would suggest using 12v solar powered floods with an integral passive switch/movement detector. Only switching on when movement detected.
