Great gift and toy for kids and adults alike. Though I wish Nerf could paint the decals on both sides of the blaster, I wonder why they don't.

With the expectation that the Nerf Elite Strongarm is discontinued and now of old or pre-loved stock I've bought it. Upon arrival, inspecting the plastic it does clearly say 2011 on it marking the blaster as 15 years old which is to be expected. Using the conveniently provided darts the blaster performed poorly consistently succeeding in 1/6 shots while the rest were weak to impotent. I opened the blaster and lubricated the plunger and padded the o-ring slightly while replacing the spring and removing the posts for rear loading. Half-darts are consistently blasting at least 30m 6/6 with minimal drop. Teenagers love it!

I really like this blaster. It's small, accurate and shoots hard. Mine was delivered without darts though, so you might want to order some extra if it's intended to be a gift.

Acheté pour mon neveu de 5ans et demi. Il se regale avec le seul bémol c'est que c'est un peu raide pour le recharger à part ça très bon nerf. Juste ne vous attendez pas a avoir un bel emballage... c'est juste un carton la notice et le pistolet du coup j'ai viré le carton et emballé le pistolet directement. Bref je le recommande pour les grands et les moins grands !
