What is the difference between light and dark?

The difference is grip/stickiness and some small changes to sound- it's just down to personal preference really. I'm a violinist but prefer dark rosin because I live in a relatively cold and dry place and prefer deeper tones on my instrument. If I lived somewhere particularly warm or humid, or wanted a slightly brighter tone I'd go for light rosin.

Can the box be reused for other rosin?

Doubtful. The Rodin is fixed rigidly inside the box. It can be rotated.

I'm an improver cellist with Helicore strings on a rather lively cello. Do you recommend light or dark rosin, please?

Hello, the dark rosin is recommended for cello
