Protect The Crown Night Guard for Teeth Grinding, Clenching 2-Pack, Pink

10/10 recommend this night time mouth guard! Easy to make it at home your impressions and fits perfect! You will save hundreds and this works just as good as the ones you’ll get mad at the dentist and honestly I like this one better than the ones I’ve had in the past.

So I’ve been grinding a lot in my sleep lately and my old guard was from before I got my crown. A search suggested remolding with the crown could cause problems and that the age of the guard meant I should replace it. I went with this one since it’s good for top or bottom teeth, and my crown is on the top. It molded well for me on my bottom teeth, and I followed the instructions to put a rolled damp paper towel inside before microwaving. It’s super comfortable and doesn’t even make me talk funny when I wear it! Much better than my old guard. Getting it in pink was perfect, especially for Wednesdays! 😉

The thickness in the front is unnecessary and needs to be thick and more in the back. The price robbery for the simple fact it does not work. The sides cave in easily and the thick front is impossible to get to a molding state. The size is too small for my mouth. It’s length was a good 2 wisdom teeth off. It it is not wide is not nearly wide enough. Bc the length and it being to thin I only tried one and gave up. It’s impossible to do alone and it just does not fit. I can’t tell you if it had any effect on my nose as I could make it yo use it. I don’t care about the case or any of the cosmetics. I bought it for less nasty chemicals. I think they put their effort in the cosmetics than making a quality product. The price is a total rip off and I am very upset about their return policy. I wasn’t given an option to return it and I could not find how to reach them directly. Life got busy and I had to another and no one has time to deal with constant 3rd party arguing that can go on for days and then have to go back to Amazon etc etc. Save yourself the trouble. It’s not worth how quickly this can mess up and the process to heat it, terrible. I’ll try to add a photo of this product and my mouth price I’m using now. Thickness, size etc I would now but it won’t up load.

I bought this as I clench and grind my teeth while asleep. Was pretty easy to mold and I was able to remold it after I messed it up the first time. It comes with 2 guards to mold so if you break or mess up the 1st one beyond repair then you have another guard to use. Good and sturdy quality and works pretty great for those that clench or grind and wake up with a headache. Cost wasn't too bad for the product you get

I’ve tried many mouth guards and this one has been the best one. I can’t afford the 600$ one from the dentist but I grind my teeth bad while I sleep. This one is easy to mold to your teeth, came with a nice case that hasn’t broken, I never spit it out in my sleep, and it’s not as big as some of the other ones so it fits nicely without having to cut it, it’s comfortable in my mouth and doesn’t hurt my gums. I’d continue to buy this one (plus it’s cute and pink).

Works, but the material is still too thick and makes my mouth open when I’m trying to fall asleep and I hate sleeping or breathing with my mouth open. Maybe I did it wrong, but I did follow the instructions. It works as far as not clenching your teeth at night, but if you hate breathing with your mouth open, keep looking sadly.

I’ve tried multiple times over the years to make a mouthguard since I suffer from TMJ and migraines, and I think I clench my jaw as a sleep (I’m also a belly sleeper so I think my jaw is “clamped” shut while I’m sleeping on my sides of my face.) I decided to give this one a try only because of how thin the piece that goes in between the top and bottom teeth looked. I decided since this came with two, I’d risk trimming it up rather significantly, and boy am I glad I did!! I took off a bit off the height of the guard, and the backs of it. I have always hated the guards I’ve made in the past due to feeling like I’m choking on it. I can actually wear this one without feeling like it’s there and it’s not so thick between my teeth. I’ve had past ones be so thick that my jaw isn’t able to be in its relaxed state, but contracted ever so slightly because of how thick most ones are, which defeats the purpose for me and causing a migraine from that too. (I have a high maintenance jaw apparently lol) I also don’t own a microwave, so I put the guard in slightly less than boiling water in a mug and swirled it around for 15/20 seconds and then molded it. It worked perfectly. 1000% recommend.

This is a great night guard and an incredible value for the money. My first night guard was expensive and I bought it through my dentist. This one is much better than that one and much less expensive. My 2nd night guard I bought on Amazon and it lasted awhile but did not fit as well as the Protect the Crown (PTC) so I was looking for something a little more substancial and reading about the PTC, I thought I would give it a try. It was easy to mold to my teeth. I did it wrong the first time, didn't line it up right with my front two teeth, but it was so easy to put it back in the microwave and the second time it was perfect. Last night I used it for the first time and it was almost like I wasn't using a night guard. I can't say the same for the first two. I would recommend to anyone purchasing this to be patient, follow the directions and keep at it until you have a perfect fit. It is also nice that they give you two of them. I only use a night guard on my top teeth and it is nice to have a spare in case I lose it traveling or whatever which is what happened to the 2nd one.
