Excellent for fine jewelry work and metalwork (for instance, I’m currently working with brass, silver, and copper). The polishes are in fact listed in the pamphlet, in color order from coarsest to finest, as well. Applies to the buffing wheel/bit easily and smoothly, and works just as intended, giving a glossy and high polish, mirror-like shine when you work your way through from the coarsest to the finest polish block, of course.

At first I thought these were a bit on the small side; how long could they last ?? The truth is it requires so little product to get a job done that these will probably last a long time, and for the price, I might even pick up another just to have on hand. I also like that each includes a recommended use for best results in the tiny booklet that's included. I'd recommend these for small polishers and buffers.

This is a nice selection of polishing compounds. I am new to polishing jewelry and am definitely still learning my way around. I ordered this product to get a variety of different compounds. Once I use all the bars, I will have a better idea of the ones I like and the ones I will not use very often. The size of the bars (4 oz each) gives me enough for use on many jewelry pieces. I asked the company how to properly store the bars but, I have not received a reply. The foldout that came with the order covered what each color compound would be used for but did not mention storage.

Worked very well for me

No longer skeptical. Found a butcher knife that my grandfather made over 100 years ago which was totally deep pitted up with rush. Started sanding/restoring with lots of 60 grit, then 80, then 120 grit until all pits were removed, but blade was dull looking. Then moved up to the 400 & 600 grit sand paper and while is looked better it was still dull (Pic Attached). Bought these bars and also a buffer wheel the fits on a drill (my drill turns 2800rpms). Applied used the black bar first to get the micro scratched out and the blade was already shinny when i cleaned it off. Then applied the finishing green bar and was shocked at how glossy it was... almost like a mirror. Attached picture of the first pass with these bars... Absolutely amazing! 100% recommend these bars!

Fast delivery and pack awe lol,,, only problem is I used only 2 ( brown, and green) they seemed very dry and really didn’t stick to my 6” buffing wheel… haven’t used the others yet.. maybe just a bad batch!

This is my first complete set of buffing compounds and I am very pleased with them. The description of whated each was used for was a bit confusing but after watching a few videos I was off to the races. I was able to polish an old knife to a mirror shine which was the best outcome I could hope for.
