HTC Vive VR Memory Face Foam Replacement 6mm. Comfortable Pu Leather Cushion Pad, Increased FOV. 2 Pack

I received these in the mail in great packaging as seen in the pictures. I will be using the nice individual bags for other things, they are zip lockable for easy reuse. I also appreciated the lint free screen cleaner rag they sent with it. Very professional and arrived very quickly, 2 day prime and was here in about 30 hours. They fit on the headset easy and comfortable. As shown in the pictures, they make a huge difference being slimmer and still very comfortable. I have an extra one for a backup or may even let a friend use if they want to try it for themselves. I was very annoyed with the very thick one that came with it and you would think all that extra padding would make it more comfortable for long term use... but this new thin one is actually more comfortable and with extended use. I use for multiple hours and I have no face numbness or pressure pain like I did previously. If you are thinking of trying something new and better for your vive, you cannot beat this value. I had ordered original more expensive ones that were thicker thinking they would be better than these thinner ones but after doing that and not getting any better results, I decided to try these. I wish I would of done these first because they are exactly what is needed and should ship with the vive in my opinion. Note that although my pictures show the advanced audio headset, I was using on the original before upgrading the head strap and it worked great on either head strap unit. But I would strongly suggest to upgrade to the new head strap with audio built in, they are amazing and a must for anyone who plays VR. Disappoints me that it did not come with the vive originally and I had to pay another 100$ for it, which it shouldn't cost that much but you definitely need it. Either which way, these face pads are amazing and I highly recommend to anyone looking for more comfortable ones that also increase your POV for playablity.

I bought these masks for use during my 45 minute or so daily Beat Saber sessions. I am very happy with them. They don't soak up sweat like the foam masks. Didn't notice any discomfort after an hour. The headset being that close to your face feels a little weird at first, but it actually makes the weight distribute more evenly on your head. Definitely increased field of view to the point that there is a significant increase in immersion. It doesn't completely erase the blind spots, but it's probably the best you can get without buying a brand new headset. The mask is bigger than the face of the headset, so it hangs off the edges, but it doesn't cause any problems. I don't wear glasses and I can definitely see glasses wearers having a problem with this since when using it my eyes are basically right up against the HMD lenses. At first I thought $20 was a little expensive for two pleather masks, but they are high quality, and $20 is a low price for increased FOV and immersion. The only thing I would add is the tab in the middle of the stock masks that lines up with the headset. But it's not a big enough problem for me to take off a star, and since I don't have to switch the masks out nearly as often as I used to, it's not really a problem,

So i was actually pretty surprised with how comfortable these are. They feel kind of thin but when wearing them on your the Vive it's a pretty noticeable difference in comfort. On top of that they advertise a better FOV which i can say is true. They dont intrude on the sides of the headset so it gives you LITTLE bit of a boost to FOV, not super dramatic but it's there. It's so nice not having sweat soak up into the mask which these i can happily say do not soak up any. Just a quick wipe down and they are good to go for someone else. The only downside is that they don't seem to fit exactly on the Vive like the default foam ones do. They sort of come off the sides a bit.However that does not affect the feel of them on your face. All in all i'd definitely say it's worth the price, and they give you a free microfiber cloth.

Switching from the stock cover to this one is 100x better! (You have to line it up yourself) it. The extra field of view and the no worries about sweat in and around your eyes is awesome. I can workout for much longer in vr and when I am done. I can just take a damp rag and wipe it clean. With the old cover sweat gets everywhere and you're hotter. Plus its really hard to clean. I had to get the sweat out with multiple paper towels. Then spray it with alcohol and let it sit. Come back and dry it again with paper towels. Last spray it with disinfectant. A lengthy process I hated doing and it made me not want to be in vr much. The first day in vr with the cover. I went it multiple times and ended up hanging out all night with a few friends cause it was so easy to hop back in after a session. All in all I highly recommend getting yourself a vr cover like this. Its really thin, so an increase in fov.(Much needed if you still have basic vive lenses) Its very easy to clean, I dont even think about any more and I've had this for like a week at this point. The easier it is to manage the more you'll be in vr as a casual or harder.
