Cool entertainment closet
Super high quality. Lots of airflow with not much noise. Installed the airframe inside my entertainment closet wall which vents into the evening room. Intake air will passively come in below the closet door. The programming ability with the included buffer feature is highly convenient. Be sure to order the correct intake/exhaust airframe for your application. $150 well spent (airframe and white vent grille) I highly recommend AC Infinity products, the quality is superb and the warranty is definitely a plus.

Exquisite design and great value.
If these came in a brushed nickel or brushed stainless look that would be an awesome addition to the black and white. I bought both an exhaust and an intake fan to cool AV equipment in a closet with 8-foot doors. Fans look great, are well-made, and have thus far proven to be quite effective. The temperature probe and "EXT" leads aren't long enough for the lower intake fan in my application in an 8' closet door. I'd like to use the EXT of the exhaust fan which has the temp probe on ceiling to control the intake so I may end up making a longer cord at some point. The documentation on the "EXT" control makes it pretty obvious that even though it's a 4-conductor plug out, it terminates in only 2 in for power On/Off and cannot vary the speed on the second fan to match. The site says that the "S" fans made for this aren't available but "T" fans can be used as well. On the one hand that seems like the speed control would be wasted, but on the other, these fans are priced such that that's probably a non-issue. If you have a closet in which you need a cooling solution, these are awesome and beyond reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Minor warranty issue on non-functioning temp probe was handled quickly and effectively.

Looks much more expensive. Small quibbles.
Great ventilation fan. I use a pair (intake and exhaust) for my ‘server’ closet. Install is very easy and it comes with a great plastIc template to use for the cutout. So much better than paper templates. A few minor complaints: - the power cable that can be used to connect two units together is to short unless the exhaust and intake are on the same surface - finding compatible fans that are quieter is not as simple as you may think due to the specs - having two a separate models for intake and exhaust is just silly. The fans are just reversed in the housing and a switch would have been better - I went through multiple units to find a pair with decently quiet fans because there is a lot of variability between units

Great product, but fan speed logic needs work
(Updated 2/7/2026) I've lowered my rating because of how much of a nuisance this fan has become. The controller logic for SMART mode needs attention. Regardless of what temperature I set my system to, it more often than not will reach a point where it is speeding up and slowing down constantly when approaching a temperature that is a fan speed transition. Having this running constantly is not an issue - it becomes white noise and gets tuned out - but the constant changing in fan speeds draws attention to it and makes it annoying. AC Infinity makes so many cool products especially geared toward tech-forward people. They really need to step up to the plate and come up with a smarter solution here.

Information on Fan replacement
Product is attractive and comes in an intake and exhaust version (though you can flip the direction of the internal fans yourself with nothing more than a screwdriver and a bit of pulling to remove the hot glue holding the fan headers in place). My product arrived damaged with a cracked internal fan, so I had to replace them. Included fans are 120mm x 38mm (deeper than a standard computer exhaust fan). I replaced with Noctua NF-A12, which is only 25mm deep. Note: 4-pin PWM fan headers look like they fit a standard computer fan plug, but they do not. The two "teeth"/"keys" in the plug are very slightly off. Additionally the female header on the Airframe's control board are slightly too thin to fit a standard 4-pin PWM fan header. I had to use a razor blade to shave off the "teeth" on my Noctua headers, and then had to cut off the bottom edge of the female headers on the board. The fans work perfectly well with PWM control, but after the modifications the headers fell out of the board very easily. I had to super glue them in — tape didn't work for me. See photos attached.

Works great for a small IT Closet. Keeping temperature at 75 all the time.
We used this and the exhaust for a small IT Closet. Prior to installation the temperature would get up to mid 80s. Now the temperature stays around 75. Easy to install. The cord to connect the 2 fans together is a little short. Our ceiling are high and we were about 2' short of connecting. We will be adding these fans to all our IT Closets.

Overall great Product. Slightly noisy + short cables
Moved all of my electronics into a closet and didn’t realize how hot it would be. These fans looked like the perfect solution. I ordered the intake, and also a exhaust. Super easy to install and they look really nice as well. They could be a little bit more quiet on the max setting but for the most part they’re not super noticeable. I’ve seen people post about replacing the fans with higher quality lower noise fans and I considered it but it’s not bad enough to warrant that unless you’re really producing a lot of heat because the automatic mode throttles down the fans when full power isn’t necessary based on the thermostat reading. The one gripe I do have is the length of the cable to connect the fans together if you buy more than one you can have a master/slave situation so they work in conjunction. My closet was a little big so the wire was too short to make the connection. If you just use one at the top of your door and one on the bottom it should be more than fine. Other than that I’m happy with 2 months of constant use no issues at all.

Product performs as listed.

Basically this unit will push air but it will not make any size of space any cooler. With that said, I’m sure others might find it worth purchasing.

Fantastic product, reasonable noise for the volume of air it moves. Wish I had purchased one with air flow in the other direction
