does anyone know what is the difference between the pure nickel and the wound nickel?

Pure Nickel is less susceptible to the magnetic field, and thus warmer. A lot of blues players use them. Think 50/60’s sound. Nickel Wound, has a steel core, which are affected more by the pick-up magnets. Those strings have a brighter attack. Hope that helps! Always try them yourself, personal taste may differ.

Is the G string wound

On sets over 12 gauge on the first string... the 3rd string is wound. Under 11 gauge E string the G is plain.Overall great strings these pure nickel ones.

Are these good for a semi-hollow body style guitar like an Ibanez artcore ag75?

Hi, yes they are good strings for that guitar. I bought them looking for a warm jazzy tone, but these caliber are hard to play.

Are these strings good for a telecaster or strat ?

Yes, and as with all things, it depends on what kind of sound you're going for. Pure Nickel strings tend to have a warmer tone which is great for blues. If your guitar's pickups tend to be too bright, these will help smooth put the tone. I used them on my strat which was equipped with Noiseless pups that were very bright.

Sound fantastic for jazz/blues/rock

On my 335 they have really improved the bass strings making them slightly more mellow. They sound great even when brand new. Everybody playing jazz, blues or rock should definitely give them a try!

Su Fender Telecaster, ottime corde, feeling immediato!

Su Fender Telecaster (pickup seymour duncan sellette vintage), action abbastanza alta. Ottavate perfettamente. Finora le corde con cui mi sono trovato meglio. Suono corposo e con buon sustain. Molto morbide ma allo stesso tempo "presenti", sul pulito veramente notevoli. Tenuta dell'accordatura ottima, anche la durata sembra promettere bene. Feeling immediato, consiglio almeno una volta di provarle.

Si quieres evitar el exceso de brillo cuando pones cuerdas nuevas. Este es tu juego de cuerdas. Me ha costado años descubrirlo, muchos años, pero ya tengo la fórmula. Dese el minuto 1 suenan perfectas y se mantienen mucho en el tiempo.

Son cuerdas de muy buena calidad. Las llevo utilizando años y nunca se me rompen. Las cambio cuando me apetece. Lo maximo q las he tenido fueron 3 meses pero no las cambie por pereza o falta de tiempo. Toco muy frecuentemente la guitarra y duran.
