Good upgrade for not much money.
5 stars for the product. My only issue was my own fault. Okay, I had two issues. But they were both my fault. First, make sure you measure to get the right size. This was for a Gibson. My Les Paul (copy) is not a Gibson, nor is it an Epiphone. However, most off-brand Les Pauls (especially made overseas) will likely be more similar to Epiphone than Gibson. When in doubt, give the good folks at GraphTech a call. They are very friendly and helpful. They'll sort you out. Second issue occurred during installation. This is not a complicated upgrade but does require patience. But you will likely have to sand it down to size for the height (and also likely have to take some off the sides). Go slowly. Check that it's square and check the fitment periodically. I was sanding mine on a flat piece of granite countertop, but ended up taking too much off the front. Ended up having to order a second one. I recommend ordering a couple of these just in case you make a similar mistake. They aren't expensive, and no one wants to leave their guitar sitting there and unusable while you wait for shipping. I've made this upgrade in several of my guitars and they always sound nicer, stay in tune better, and have a lot more sustain. Would definitely recommend the upgrade.

Great product, a little tricky to install (maybe order two?)
I have Graph Tech nuts on two Fenders, and wanted to install one on my Les Paul. I watched a number of YouTube videos to remind myself of the process. The nut slots are fine - no need to touch those. What you do need to do is sand the bottom of the nut until you get it to the perfect height (which will give you the best action (string distance from frets). Too high, and guitar sounds out of tune when you play chords. Too low, and you'll get string buzz. Well I messed up my first attempt in two ways: 1) I didn't sand slow enough, and check progress often enough. As a result I sanded too much off the bottom, and the nut was too low. Try again! 2) When sanding, you want to run the nut along a piece of wood to keep it square to the sandpaper. My first attempt I simply pinched it with my fingers, and slid it back and forth. As a result the bottom was on a slant, and not square to the nut slot on the guitar. Looked like #hit. So, I ordered another nut, and did it right the second time. If you're new at this, I might suggest ordering two, so you have it in case you mess up the first one.

Awesome product... made me p.... off at Gibson
After years struggling with tunning stability on my gibson les paul classic, i finally had enough.... watch some you tube videos on how to do it and proper measures of nut and its height.... long store short... guitar is in tune for days now despite heavy bends (and sound seems more live) on one side im very happy, on the other hand, im p... off at gibson, how can that i buy a 10 eur pre-slotted nut, installed myself and i works..... and you cannot deliver a 2000 Eur instrument with a descent nut Which hold tune for 5 min... after learning how a nut should look like, it is astonishing to see the original gibson nut.... shame on you Gibson.....
