Baby Says "Moo!"

I'm frustrated by this version of the book - I had found the original hardcover one at our library and my toddler son loved it, so I was happy to find the board book edition. Unfortunately, it's quite abridged from the original and lacks the fun, repetitive rhyming of the first. (And this one includes cloying, more feminine words such as 'snickerdoodle', 'patty-cake', 'honey bun', 'sugarplum', 'sweetie pie'-- whereas the original used only these: 'bunny', "me and you", 'lucky duck', & 'lovey-dove'. Why such drastic changes? I hope the next edition of the board book will stay true to the original (found here:  Baby Says "Moo!"  )

We read it almost every night. Its super cute, every time we say "baby says..." she looks back waiting for the "moo".

Good quality book! The cover is squishy and it's the perfect size: not too big, not too small. My 16 month old is able to handle it well; keep it on his lap and easily turn the pages. The illustrations are loveable, and the story is fun. My son loves this book, and picks it from his book basket and carries it to me to read often. I will order another Macken book if she writes more.

Easy to read and fun book. The story line is rhythmic and flows like music. The illustrations are cute and my 1yr old loves pointing at things in the scenery. By the time u read this a million times like we have. Baby will know what a cow says... lol.

This is a great book for toddlers. After reading it a couple times my grandaughter was able to identify the pink words and join in the story. How exciting to be able to help her learn to read!!

This is the cutest book out there! My son's first and only word at the moment is Moo. He gets so excited, and only wants to read cow books. This book was written about him I swear. I love it.

We read it to him EVERY night, He will be 2 soon, and has read it every single night for at least 8 months. He just doesnt get tired of it. He likes to say the Baby's parts and all the animal sounds, he also waives to the book at that part. He likes to find the Dog, Cat, Squirrel, Horse, Mama, and Dada on all the pages and points them out.You can't pry this book from him at bed time!!!!

My baby absolutely loves this book!!! Borrowed from library originally and after it was returned, I had to order our own copy!!!
