EE PAYG Triple SIM Card Preloaded with 6 GB of 4GEE Data

I'm guessing all the 1 star reviews are people that couldn't figure out how to set the sim card up. You need Wi-Fi initially to access the instructions (unless you download them before hand from the EE website). Basically you'll need to go into network settings in your phone to tweak some things. It's really not difficult but the instructions aren't included in any packaging with the sim card. The initial text I got when I popped in the sim card lead me to the EE website and instructions (needed wifi at that point because I was at the Frankfurt Airport and just flew in from the US).Actual service I had in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland was amazing. Incredibly fast 4G speeds. My friends traveling with me (all from the US) used their own US carrier Intl plans and I was the lead member of the group for internet on the go because theirs was so slow.There are a few spots in the country or mountains I didn't get service but that was expected. Overall 30 bucks for 6GB on 4G speeds is an incredible deal. Well worth the money and I will purchase this sim card again for my next visit to Europe!

Unable to activate the card on line as directed by the instructions in the package. We arrived in Scotland, put the SIM card in our WIFI device, could not get any connectivity since the website to activate was not loaded. We had to go to a EE store in Edinburgh to get it activated. The tech guy there had some struggling at first but he finally had it activated. So far it works great with a 4G connection in the city. If we were not in the area where EE store Was available , then the card would be useless. Recommend not to buy this EE SIM card.

I just got back From Europe, and this card had great fast 4G data coverage in Spain, France, and UK. I activated it outside of the UK (in Spain). I bought this instead of the "Three" sims, because the "Three" sims are supposed to be activated in the UK, but I was traveling to Spain first.It did take about 30 minutes before the activation web page would work, so don't panic. Just know you can't use it right away. Turn off your wifi, and use a web browser (with DATA SAVINGS turned off, so you can get to the free registration page). The Sim is half-registered (I didn't have to enter any personal info), I just had to click the activation button.It is nice that it lasts 90 days. Also note: this card ONLY provides 4G service. If you have a phone or tablet that is missing the 4G bands (HSPA and LTE) for the country, it WILL NOT ALLOW ROAMING ON 2G GSM.. Also by default it doesn't roam in the USA, but I think you can add extra money to the sim if you want USA roaming.

I used this for an 11 day trip across Sweden, Estonia, and the Netherlands. I was worried that it wouldn't connect in some countries or that I would go over my limit (the webpage it gives you to check in on your account is a bit confusing in the way it talks about how many hours or hours per day you have remaining, which made me nervous) but it was never an issue. The connection wasn't instantaneous, but in each country I was able to get on roaming data within about 30 minutes of arriving, which is about as long as I usually would have been in the airport anyway. The internet service was fine, and it gave me immense peace of mind as a solo traveller in countries where I didn't speak the language to know that I had access to maps, google, translations, and facebook communication with my friends and family back home. I can see myself purchasing this product again for short-term travel overseas.

Worked as advertised. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and used this card. This SIM is only capable of connecting to the internet. It cannot make phone calls or send/receive SMS. To activate, you need to be in Europe. Just pop it in, start your browser and an activation screen will appear. Click on activate. That's it. Again, it cannot make calls or send SMS. If you want to do that, buy credit in Skype and you will be able to use it to call or text any number around the world. That's what we did and we were able to call and text numbers locally. This is the best alternative if you want to purchase a SIM card that will work in Europe before you get there. The only other alternative will be to go a local carrier there like Vodafone or TIM and buy a local SIM card there.

Purchased four of these SIM cards between myself and my brother in law for a trip to Europe. We were able to get two of the four phones working with minimal problems. Needed Wifi to set up the product but once it was set up it worked well. The other two cards were not as simple. My brother in law went into an EE store in London to get his card activated - for some reason the card couldn't activate. For the fourth SIM card we realized too late that my sons phone was not unlocked and the phone needed to be unlocked to use the product. By time we unlocked the iPhone through Apple we were no longer in London and there were no EE stored to get the SIM card activated. The fourth product never worked no matter what we tried so I had to request a refund.For the SIM cards that worked it worked great in London, Paris, Vienna, Brussels, Munich and Rome. Having 6GB was great for out two week trip. Also purchased two 1GB SIM cards and they ran out prior to the end of our trip for the two kids that had them in their iPhones.There is no phone service so we used Whats App to communicate with each other. Worked great.

Provided fantastic internet coverage whilst I was on holiday in a remote part of the Scottish Highlands. I placed the SIM card into a portable router device and I was online instantly. When my data runs out I will simply buy a replacement SIM card and throw away the expired one. Thanks for the fair pricing of this SIM card versus EE website.

Kein Hinweis das sim erst im Zielland eingesetzt werden darf. Bin nun in England und 0€ Volumen ! Unbrauchbar. EE Shops können nicht helfen und empfehlen neu aufzuladen. Bad service

Did not work, unable to activate when i got in Hungary. Tried to call on 150 which link to the app. Unable to engage service. Ended up getting a Vodafone prepaid at near local shop. Wasted my $$ :(

La tarjeta en sí está bien, pero he encontrado bastantes problemas de cobertura con la red de EE en Escocia. Buena cobertura en ciudades, pero muy mala por los pueblos y carreteras. No sé si será lo mismo con las demás compañías, pero desde luego esto ha sido un problema a la hora de intentar buscar información sobre la marcha.
