Une Parisienne [DVD]

If you have never seen a film with Brigitte Bardot, then this is a good place to start. She illuminates the screen with her charm, beauty & undeniable talent. Like many romantic comedies of the same era, there is a real air of charm here, which film makers fail to capture in today's movies. I wish she had made more English speaking films though, because just like her counterparts of the same time (Marilyn Monroe & Doris Day), she is endearing & wonderful to watch in these types of romantic comedies. But apparently she rarely liked to leave her beloved France - at least she did things her way I suppose.

A great Bardot film in which she delivers a superb performance. Good story, good entertainment and good filming.

Typical for 1960, when prudence reigned in chastity, Here is a heroine goofing along and showing us the charm of Brigitte Bardot before she became spoilt

Bardot at her best in a jolly marital romp with a playful lapse and an interesting flight in a one-off French prototype jet trainer, the Morane-Saulnier MS 755 Fleuret.

I absolutely LOVED this film !!! I'm only just starting to watch the movies of Bardot and this has got me wanting to buy more !! It's witty and fun and one to watch again and again. LOVE BB !!
