Perfect OEM part, Perfect fit
Received new OEM switch in original John Deere packaging. Took longer to get the mower I installed it on out of the garage than it did to install the switch. Super quick and easy install that ANYBODY can perform

Fit and function as expected
It was a plug and play installation No problem at all. Works like a charm. Potential buyers need to know that the original key, nut and washer are required as this is just the switch.

Get this OEM part
Key broken in original so had to replace. Save a trip to dealer buy here ant it is at your door. Several reviews with problems with aftermarket replacements for few dollars get OEM easy to change and works perfect. What more could you want?

Works with the oem key!
The whole point of this ingnition switch is to have your old key be the same. You get what you pay for too. My last ingnition lasted 20 years and the knock of brands may work but this one will last.

Basic switch and nothing else
I purchased this OEM part because I've been going through (burning out) some other aftermarket switches too frequently. The TCA22740 is noticeably heavier and the spring action is stiffer. Purchasers of this unit should make note that all you get is the switch, no nuts, no washers, and no keys. If you need any of that stuff then you'll have to search for it, otherwise the switch you're replacing should have all that and can be reused. I hope to go several years without having to do this again but my hopes are not high since I had to have a warranty replacement of the key switch right after I received my JD Zero Turn mower. I'll report back if / when that happens. I would suggest spending the few extra dollars on the OEM switch since it seems to be heavier duty than the aftermarket switches.
