Fantastic apple corer! These devices have been around for many many years but I've never thought about buying one until recently and I'm not disappointed.The cutter is nice and large with well positioned handles that are big enough for small or large hands. The handles are smooth and easy on the hands and with the wider hand grips on each side it allows a person to grasp and push with lots of force! Bingo! Apple in nicely cored pieces. The blades appear to be nice and sharp. They do the job efficiently without much muscle power required. Love it and so glad I bought this device.

Great for the large size apples that get jammed up in regular sized apple corers! I hardly ever use our old one anymore, since I don't need to worry about the size of the apple with this one.

This is a simple yet hard to find kitchen gadget that is a must for apple eaters. Some apples are enormous and broke our old slicer. This one handles the biggest ones out there with ease. I've never seen one this size - 4 ½" - in a regular store. It is REALLY strong, too. I can't imagine it breaking. Your are on the page. Amazon has a great price. Just buy it now.

I like the larger diameter of this apple slicer/corer - that's what attracted me to it. I do find the quality is poorer than I was expecting, especially in that there are small gaps between the metal parts that collects bits of food and is difficult to clean. I don't like the idea that bacteria can collect in these small spaces and potentially contaminate the fruit. I have not had this problem with other apple slicers.

I eat an apple a day. With hindsight, I would have ordered it years ago. I am eating more of the apples than ever before. I have false teeth and it is much easier to take the first bite. It even looks beautiful with the slices of the apple spreading out like the petals of a flower!

Whoever said this is good for Honeycrisp apples was right. Those are apples are too big for your standard core-slicer. This one has a good durable feeling. The handles are more robust than I expected from the picture. It's really sharp.I've run it through the dishwasher several times and its fine. The low quality models show rust spots after the dishwasher.

The slicer was delivered on time and in excellent condition. I've used it on some huge Gala apples and it worked perfectly. Since the blades are molded into the plastic handles, I don't think they will come loose like some other slicers users have complained about.

This is the proper size apple corer. Don't get the tiny one from the competitors that won't fit any decent size apple. Sturdy design. I've used these for years without breaking.
