nice teaser!
This is a good teaser for the upcoming Letters for Scarlet. I enjoyed Gardner's style and am curious to see what happens with these characters in the next book. Though it's written in a fun, light-hearted way, it's clear something sinister and mysterious is looming in the next book.

Well written
Wish the story would have at least implied what happened. More or less just people saying stuff about some big past thing, but letting no clue as to what it was. Oh well, the author writes well the story just wasn't there.

A quick intriguing read.
A very quick, intriguing read. I love the short story form and found this one to be a page turner. You don't ever find out what happened, but it doesn't matter. The characters are enough of a story on their own.

Fantastic Novella with lots of intrigue...so well written.
Ms. Gardner did a fantastic job of introducing her characters and their personalities...even her writing style changed as she reflected the different characters in the first person. She has created a great build up to the 2nd book in the series. Having "met" the characters, now I can't wait for Letters to Scarlet to arrive so I can find out what secrets they have buried...what really happened between Scarlet, Corie and Tuck...hmmm...and how will it impact their future?

A Big Thumbs Up for Guest List
I enjoyed meeting the characters in this novella. I feel like they are my high school classmates with all the highs and lows that we all experience in life. It is covers a topic that most of us have discussed:should I attend my high school reunion? I am intrigued by the hints about something big in their past and look forward to learning more in Letters for Scarlet.

Beautifully written
Loved this book! This short prequel does its job well - I can't wait to read Letters for Scarlet to see what happens next and what happened in the past. (There seems to be a dark secret looming.)Ms. Gardner has a beautiful writing style and this story told from multiple perspectives leading up to a high school ten year reunion was entertaining and interesting with great character development.

Fun read but buy Letters for Scarlet - you will love both!
This is a fun introduction to Letters for Scarlet (which I actually read first). I enjoyed the character development and I still want to know more about the main characters. After reading this, I had fun going back and re-reading Letters for Scarlet. Read this and buy Letters for Scarlet - you won't be disappointed by either!
