Super cute, compact nail files.
I bought these mainly for doing my own nails, but also for a bit of crafting here and there, and I’ve got to say I’m really impressed with them. First thing I noticed is the size – they’re smaller than your average nail file, which I actually love. They’re much more compact, easy to store, and just feel nicer to handle. You’ve got more control when you’re using them, especially for little detailed bits, so they’ve been great for both nails and craft jobs. They’re surprisingly versatile (that’s the word I was looking for instead of “adaptable” 😄). I’ve found loads of different uses for them, and they hold up really well without wearing down too quickly. Also, I know it’s a small thing, but I really like the colours – they’re nice and bright, which just makes them a bit more fun to use instead of the usual boring ones. You get quite a lot in the pack as well, which makes it really good value. With the longer files, I always feel like you don’t end up using the whole thing anyway, so these being smaller actually makes more sense to me.

on natural nails these are files not buffers
The words 'buffer' and 'natural' in the product description confused me into thinking that I could use these to buff the flat surface of my natural nails. For this reason I've dropped them 2 stars. I don't wear nail varnish but I do like to see nice shiney buffed nails. Both of the surfaces of these blocks are too coarse and aggressive for this purpose. However, they are great as nail files to reduce and shape the end of my nails.
