If you use the hardware instead of relying on the stickers, AND your child does not pull aggressively on these, they probably work just fine. They did not work for us.I was looking for something that would not require any holes in my cabinets, so I attempted to install these using only the stickers, as the instructions showed. Unfortunately, even after following the instructions exactly and waiting a whole day to test them, they did not stick well enough to keep my 18mo from opening our drawers.I then considered attaching them with the screws, but while debating this option, my son found the one drawer whose latch did manage to stick properly. He yanked hard and the latch broke. The hook came off, the screw went flying. So I don't think I'll be using these at all!

I'm a single mother with a four year old can a very strong male 18 month old. Finding time to install these around my children is very difficult. My method for installation: I read the instructions, clean the surfaces of the cabinets with alcohol pads, then after they dried I applied the devices. They are strong. My son will pool and pool and pool on the cabinets and they do not budge, he has given up and doesn't even try to open up those cabinets anymore. Very satisfied would recommend

I just don’t understand how this could possibly work for any inquiring child. My 20-month-old figured out how to open these within one day. I am still looking for something to secure my cabinets and drawers, desperately. In the meantime, these are still installed, and just provide the us a couple extra seconds to grab her before she is in the cabinet.

Easy to install with adhesive and super easy to operate. If you are installing on high traffic compartments, I would recommend attaching with the including screws. The adhesive can only take so much of a beating and depending on the depth of your cabinets, you may need the screws after a few heavy use weeks of opening and closing.

Super easy to install. I put in 3 sets in less than 5 minutes. We've had them in for a few months now and haven't had to replace any of the locks or tape yet. At first I would forget that we had the locks installed and pull the drawers open really hard and pop the lock off, but once I got used to having to open the drawers slowly, they've been great. Our 2 year old can't get into any of the drawers we've put these locks on, and now opening them is second nature for the adults. Would definitely recommend!

Latches are sturdily built. Spring-loaded latch makes latching and unlatching easy. Screws for optional hardware mounting slightly long for the thickness of my cabinet doors and I had to file the tips down slightly to shorten them.

I decided to earthquake proof my liquor cabinet, these did a great job. The adhesive is no joke, I ended up putting the plates in backwards by mistake and tore off the veneer of the cheap particle board cupboard shelf trying to get it off. If I ever need to remove them again I'd use a razor blade. I decided to leave the adhesive sticker on and screw through it. If you place the plate up against the corner you should only need one screw (see photo).

Most childproof lathes are very very hard to line up and attach. These are dead easy. They are easy to line up and stay stuck when applied.They also have screws.
