Now here is an amazing talent within music and a very underrated one she is too.The cover art is what lured me to this album (I saw it numerous months ago and finally got around to buying the album), so expressive and creative. It definitely gave me a little insight as what to expect from the artist who I was buying into with this album and I was definitely not left disappointed. A truly amazing album from beginning to finish and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who likes their music pure and soulful. This girl delivers soul by the truck load.My only hope is that there is more to come from this incredible talent, we definitely need more music like this in music. Especially as there's so much talent lurking behind the scenes, when so much rubbish is taking centre focus. Joy Jones is a name you definitely need to watch out for, a true talent and a name that can be added to the list of amazing talent (with numerous other underrated artists).

Perfection from start to finish! I'm not sure whether it's the butter-smooth production, the playful lyrics or Joy's seductive vocals - but this album is a treat!You will feel so uplifted after listening to this. she even does a little auto tune on one song and manages to make it sound fresh and funky!this is a very talented lady!you will love GodChild!

i was recommended this artist as i was fed up of the usual chart stuff, plus the person that recommended this artist knew my taste.Spot on!!! This Artist is on the funky, chilled, soul tip with some amazing up tempo tracks. I cannot stop playing it. If your in to Erykah Badu and the Gill Scott vibe you will love this Artist!!!
