I have a small safe at home to keep essentials in (such as passports, computer backup etc.), but recently decided that as it offered no fire protection at all, I was only guarding my items against theft.After some research I settled on this as it got good reviews and was a good price.It is very flexible and can be folded or rolled to a smaller size, but fully flat it is slightly bigger than A4 to allow you to store A4 items inside it. There is then an overlapping flap that that acts as a closer.I filled it with a number of items and it ended up about an inch thick, and it still closed well.Hope I never have to find out how well it performs in a fire, but gives me peace of mind.

I am not happy with the product because I end up with a fibre glass sting and itch. There was no instructions or caution of handling this kind of item. I have to vacuum my bed because I opened it there. As I read about it, I doubt it can be effective in protecting the items I wish to place because the more you move about the item the more it is likely broken. Once it is broken the bag can likely be exposed to fire thus its purpose becomes useless.

Perhaps I didn't read the information properly....I received an e-mail in German presumably about delivery.The packaging was in German with an Achtung sticker on it in GERMAN.Unfortunately I handled the bag which is some sort of fibreglass and for the rest of the day could feel tiny pinpricks all over my hands and arms.The bag is now wrapped in a cloth until I feel brave enough to handle it again and put it to it's correct use.

Ideal to keep your valuable documents safe - sturdy and compact enough to keep in a drawer.

I hope it will do the job, looks like it will, but don't want to try it (if you see what I mean).

Hopefully will never get tested but its doing its job now !!

Would have liked it a little bit bigger but seems fine.
