not bad
I did a lot of research when choosing my outdoor gas fire pit. My wife wanted me to get one more rustic (with stone or something) and I wanted something a little more trendy and modern. I settled on this one. I watched it for a while and when the price dropped one day I snatched it up for under $460. I was happy with that deal. In arrived yesterday (8/2/18) and I promptly opened it to begin assembly. I was let down off the bat because there were no (zero, zilch, nada) assembly instructions in the box. I went to the website and found the assembly instructions but I'll be honest - It was more difficult trying to use my phone to read them than if I had a good ole fashioned paper set in my hand. It took me a lot longer to assemble because of that I think.Anyway, I began assembly. It's not hard but none of the pieces are labeled (a, b, c) so you have to look at the pictures to figure out which piece they are talking about. Also if you are assembling on a concrete patio, be sure to lay down some cardboard or something because if this product touches the concrete it WILL scratch to the metal very easily. It had no missing parts so that was good. It took me about two and a half hours to assemble. I'd recommend you use a power driver with a 10mm socket because there are A LOT of screws to put in. They are all Philips head but they strip easy. Using the socket is best, and doesn't hurt them. If you do it by hand with a Philips head screwdriver, you'll likely end up with carpal tunnel before you're done. The glass that comes with it is pretty big chunks. It looks good. I also ordered a blue/green/clear mix of smaller glass and I mixed them together. I didn't use all the clear glass that comes with the product because it was just too much. Mixed together, it looks awesome. I got it assembled and fired it up, and it looks great. I can't tell how much heat it was putting off because after all, it is summer in south Louisiana and heat wasn't my goal.... I poured a glass of wine, waited until it was real dark and sat far enough away I wasn't sweating bullets. It had the ambiance we wanted! The only thing I don't like about it is the glass ledge that weirdly just ends about 9 inches from the end of one side. I get that they were trying to have a "trendy" designed but it really would be a better looking product if the shelf ran all the way around the whole thing. As it sits, one side (the side with the propane tank door) is exposed fully and if you want to sit in a 360 degree circle around this product it doesn't lend itself to being aesthetically pleasing on that one side. Never the less. I'm going to keep it and enjoy it. I'm sure eventually I'll have to buy a "rustic" one so my wife doesn't complain about the shelf appearance.

UPDATE - NOT SO PERFECT ANYMORE - Rusted Badly in only 6 month
UPDATED REVIEW: I have only had this fire table a couple of months and now it's completely rusted. Every single metal part that is powder coated and some that are not have completely rusted, there are only a couple of pieces of aluminum clips on the glass that have not rusted. The paint has all bubbled up and it flaking off making a huge mess and the feet are causing rust stains on my patio floor. Amazon is the most amazing company because they are giving me a refund and have also arranged for pick up. I did contact the company about this issue because it is still under warranty but they wanted to charge me almost $100 to ship the replacement parts but they will not guarantee that it won't happen again. They expected me to dismantle the firepit and then rebuild it again with the replacement parts, which I expect would have taken me the better part of a day. However, I did not find this to be a logical option because there was no guarantee it wouldn't just happen again in a couple of months. Hooray for Amazon for stepping up and treating me like a valued customer. Now I'll be purchasing a new fire table from Amazon today, as soon as I find one with at least 100 good reviews.FIRST POST BEFORE THE RUST: I love this fire table, it's high quality and stylish. I was easy to put together, I did it in just under two hours including 15 minuted to unpack it all, with no help. I would recommend that you carefully place the larger pieces of the glass in the tray by hand, one by one, instead of pouring it all at once out of the bag because there are small shards and glass dust at the bottom of the bag and it will cause a mess and leak down through the holes to the floor underneath. Otherwise, the instructions were very easy to follow, all pieces were included and nothing was damaged during shipping, all the holes for screws easily matched up and all pieces fit together perfectly. It really is the perfect style fire table for my patio. I love it.

FYI
My family and I enjoy this fire pit. As far as heat goes, it's great on a cool fall night with a jacket. If you plan to use this a way to stay warm in the cold...don't count on it. The quality of the fire table is amazing and it looks eccentric on the back patio. You'll have to buy more fire rocks though. I did contact the company for more since the glass didn't cover the pit as it states it should in the manual. Don't expect the company to send more, I did contact them with my concerns and they did not offer to cover it under warranty, but rather I could order more from them at cost. Aside from the lack of warmth and the lack of fire glass, it is worth it for the looks and making smores with the kids.

Terrible Quality - Peeling finish after one season
DON'T BE SEDUCED BY THE BEAUTY OF THIS ITEM. IT'S JUNK! We bought this two summers ago. It was gorgeous when it was brand new, but the feet rusted within a few weeks and then the finish (paint) on the top began to peel after the first summer. I even bought the expensive cover that was specifically made for this item, but after one winter of storage it's basically garbage. The paint is all peeled off the top, leaving exposed metal that has rusted. This was not cheap and I'm super bummed. Friends of ours bought this same unit and the exact same thing has happened to theirs, so this is not a case of a single unit that had a manufacturers defect. This is just what this product does. I really wish I hadn't bought this.

Looks great but shipping box sucks.
I'll give it a 5 even though the package would be a 2. Box came damaged and 6 pieces came damaged. Lucky I was able to bend items back and they are part of the legs so the focal point isn't there. There was no directions so had to take apart a few times and put back together. I was left with one extra piece and have no clue where it goes.
