OXO Good Grips Apple Corer

This is a brilliant apple corer and has saved me a lot of time as when we picked our apples from our own tree we had about 8 shopping bags full so this apple corer came into his own as it was put through its paces It never let us down it kept going and staying sharp throughout the day. As always you can count on OXO products as we have many of them. Well worth getting one and it is value for money and a great design. Fully recommended.

Third Oxo item bought. Quality and value. Easy to use.

Great product - it's a pretty bog standard apple corer that has a little serated bit at the top that you drive through the apple and remove the core in one easy motion. Getting the core out of the corer a little tricky sometimes but no biggie. It takes away a relatively generous amount of apple but nothing too wasteful. It's got a nice big handle and feels pretty sturdy. I use this practically every morning when making a smoothie and it works well. Very useful as well to think 'I need an apple corer' one day and then get home from work the next day to find this has been delivered. Great service.

Don’t usually write reviews, but this product is excellent - much better than I expected

OXO Good Grips kitchen utensils are designed for people who suffer from a weak or limited grip. As an arthritis sufferer, i can't close my hand fully around small items and maintain a firm grip. Standard cuttlery is difficult to use, and a standard corer is too difficult to keep enough grip on while both pushing it into the apple and turning it to cut the core out. This is great. The design is such that the handle is wider than normal, and the rubber grip doesn't slip in your hands. The cutting edge is plenty sharp enough to do the job it is made for, and the shaft seems very durable and doesn't bend under pressure. I have only used it a few times since buying it, but have had no problems and can see it lasting a long time. If i should have any issues with it later i will edit my review.

Got another one of these from another brand and it was awkward to use. This does the job so well every time, easy to clean, easy to use. Bravo OXO

Excellent bought to replace broken cheap one, cores beautifully recommend

This product is great , nice and sharp feels nice in your hand when using it. A robust tool.

I expected an apple corer to core apples for me. Guys, it does the thing it's made to do. Super clean, and easy to use. The unexpected side effect, was the little manic delight my boyfriend has the first time he used it. There was a glint of mischief the first time he cored and apple with it. It's a weapon of mass apple destruction. Lots of pride at the satisfying motion and piece in the body of the tube. We haven't used it on other fruit, yet, but it should absolutely work well on other things like butter. I used to have a version that would cut the slices and you had to press down side paddles, but it was tough and uncomfortable to use. Eventually the plastic around the metal was cracking from the pressure. This is just overall superior, easy and just great. Always love a handy kitchen gadget!

the handle is anatomically correct and makes twisting easy

Impeccable

Scharf, robust gefertigt, super in der Handhabung, spülmaschinentauglich. Was will man mehr!
