They arrived on time, were well-packaged and easy to set-up.I have held off writing this review for a few weeks to see how they would perform over a period of time and in varying weather conditions.The sensor that detects the onset of desk seems to be judged right.However, they only glow for around 30 minutes -- 10 minutes at 'full' brightness, a further 10 at modest brightness and 10 minutes where they fade down to nothing. In their 'defence', the days are shorter with much less daylight since the clocks changed and there has not been one full day of bright sunshine, just average dreary late Autumn days. If I had any preconceptions, it would be that they would work for [say] up to 4 hours even in the Autumn and Winter evenings when I was looking forward to seeing them. So, a little disappointed at their duration. Maybe they will perk up with longer days and bright sunshine?

Recieved these a while ago. Delivery was quick. We've had beautiful weather with plenty of sunshine and I have to say I am a bit disappointed in them. The £5.79 solar lights I bought from Homebase work better and for a lot longer than these.I have bought solar brite before and they always lastest well, maybe just a duff set.

These are lovely. The colour is great - a soft white and not the harsh white or blue-white you get with a lot of other "white" lights. There is a note in the box, which I haven't seen before with solar lights, to charge the batteries for 24 hours before you switch on the lights - we did this and it does seem to make them last longer when they come on. The cable is green, so it's not visible within the bushes and the lights look gorgeous from dusk to dark. And this length (5 metres) is great for winding through one bush / small tree. I will certainly buy these again!

Lasted about a week…now only 6 of the lights light up on the strip of 50 despite the panel being in full sunshine…don't waste your money
