1m x 1m Hard Case Fire Blanket (Kitemarked)

The fire blanket case looks very smart. Fortunately we have not needed to use the blanket so far. The only niggle is that the keyhole for the screw in the back of the case is very close to the top edge. Once the case is in place, you can see the top half of the screw, which is a bit unfortunate and unavoidable. We painted the screw with the paint used for the kitchen walls to disguise it.

Can't really give an honest review. Made it into a cape the first time i got drunk.

Bought to comply with fire regulations for rental property. Really solid casing and should be easy to use if needed. Ideally slipped over a screwhead fixed into a wall.Complies with UK regulations for a kite marked product which is now required since Brexit.

Look good quality. In a hard case. Manufactured for the fire protection shop. Kite marked on the front. Not printed on a sticker as the original Amazon shop photo suggested. But printed directly on the case. Bought 3 of these as a friend had a kitchen fire recently from a fat fryer. They instigated the purchase as their fire blanket contained the fire without any fire damage to the kitchen walls, ceiling etc. Hope never to need it but will be much better than the traditional wet t towel method.

Genuine, quality fire blanket in a hard case

Bought them for my house 1 upstairs 1 downstairs. Sturdy with handy hook hole in the back so I can hang it discreetly on the back of the door! Easy to use with simple instructions. Haven't had to use them (thank god) but I have faith they'll work fine.

After the sad events at Grenfell I realized I had no fire protection in my house so bought this blanket. Yesterday after a very stupid and careless episode with a candle I had cause to use it. A small fire was immediately extinguished when I threw the blanket over it, so I can assure anyone contemplating purchasing one that it really does work. I have immediately ordered two more and also I have thrown away the damaged rug, together with all of my candles.

cannot prperly review, as not yet had a house fire. Looks smart on wall though, in plastic case.
