You won't be expecting a Stradivarius for the kind of money these go for, but we have found the Antoni violins to be very adequate for my young beginners. The three quarter size one I bought was supplied by Top Mark Toys, who provided exemplary service when the first one we received suffered failure from a manufacturing defect. I bought this for my daughter as the school were offering free instrument tuition and I thought she would benefit more from having her own instrument to practise on. This was at such a reasonable price most second hand ones being more expensive I did not want to miss out on the opportunity to get it at half price. The only thing that lets it down as others have said is the bow, which is inferior in quality. However, I am happy with price and quality.

Violin and bow well made with a good finish. Provided in a very good quality case.Had to renew all four strings with a better quality type than initially provided. This improved the tone immensely.This is an excellent starter instrument for new pupils.

Really pleased with this violin. For the price I didn't have particularly high expectations but in reality it is a lovely instrument which is nicely made and sounds to me just as good as the expensive one we had been hiring, it also seems somehow to be easier to play, possibly due to the bow. It is also really very easy to set up. Quick delivery too, all in all I would highly recommend this item.

Definitely for practice and not performance, It's reasonably well built and for this price you can't be expected to get super-quality manufacture or amazing sound, but once you get used to it, you can produce something halfway decent. Decent value for the cheaper price.

Bought it for my 7 year old daughter for school, she loves it, had to get the music teacher to tune it up, as it comes bridge down, but now she really feels like a violinist (more noisy practice required though). The lightwieght case is ideal for the youngsters as the full size school (loaned) violin and case was far too heavy. A good buy especially at the offer price.

I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter but was exceedingly disappointed as the quality is awful.Within a couple of weeks we'd had to pay for the strings, bridge, and the bow to be replaced as they are all exceptionally low quality.I understand it's not the most expensive violin, but save yourself the time, hassle and additional cost and buy something better.

Item shipped in its padded case, with plastic wrapping around it. Rosin/Resin split during transit making a mess of the compartment. This is the only downfall to it.
