Home Design Architectural Series 18
Generally very good software , easy to use with some very good features. Biggest let down is the printing to scale. You can't print elevations or 3d views to scale. You can print out floor plans but they can't be adjusted or moved in the print layout.Print manager reviews and screenshots look very good but are extremely misleading as again you can't print to scale. The best advice don't bother buying this , unless you need a new coaster for you coffee mug!

Models existing and planned works...
We have used this software to great effect in creating the shell of a building we have bought, then populating it with our things. We were able to use the CAD software to make very realistic software versions of our furniture etc. and place them into the building. We were also able to build an extension and see its proportions, putting windows in and a door onto a new roof terrace. Walking around the 'finished' project lets us get a real sense of how it will be in reality, before doing any physical work.You need a logical approach to the 3D workshop but anything is possible with patience and hard work.If you want to do a "what-if" model of planned works or extensions, this really can help you, but you'll need excellent PC skills and a mind for spacial modelling. Nothing comes for free.
