Hi, This typical model radar detects an area of about 120°. You will need to rotate the radar head unit to ensure the motion detection area is within the range angle if your detection site is not on the front side of the vehicle. We are currently testing the 360° motion detection radar, but it is still in the testing and improvement stage and hopefully, we can get it done soon. Thank you.

Originally had rexing m3 and the hardwire kit but that didn't work, so I bought this instead, worked perfectly

This was a better option for my camera than the one the camera company recommended because it actually had 4 different fuse type jumpers where the recommended one only came with 1 and no options for the different fuse types! The fuse jumpers made hookup real easy and seems to be well made.
