I hardly slept and I’m sure my family felt a bit neglected until I finished it. Even though I tried to go slow - I like to soak in every little bit instead of rush through - it was over too soon; I think I’d sell some organs to read this for the first time again.I’m at that stage of making the book my whole personality where my husband is completely sick of hearing about it and is probably glad he’s not a reader. Does that stop me from telling him more details and reanalyzing my favorite parts to him every chance I get..? No, he can suck it up.These authors are beautiful geniuses that have such a knack for madness, making you fall for some major red-flagged men!Their writing styles matched up so well that the flow is seamless and if I didn’t know how that writing process went, I never would’ve known by reading it.Back to Jack and Kyrie!They’re such an equal match in every way. They have wits, book-smarts, talent, moral grey-ness, and smoking hot competitiveness. The slow burn banter between them was perfection, then someone poured gasoline, lit the match and a raging fire was let loose 🔥🔥🔥I feel like I have so much more to say but no words to do this justice, read this then give me all your reactions 😍 I feel bad for the next few books I read after this one because the bar is high, nothing will compare.

4.25⭐️/4🌶️/4👻💀enemies to lovers🖤 soulmates💀 grumpy x sunshine🖤 badass FMC💀 serial killer romanceWho the eff knew serial killer romances would become my favorite thing!? It’s like horror, thrillers, and romance wrapped up into one. Wolfe & Weaver have seriously honed in on that genre and are DOMINATING it. This book was brilliantly written by this infamous duo.Marrow is a rival serial killer romance. These two love to hate each other. For example, he pisses her off so she tases and sedates him to frame him for murder.This book was too unbelievable. I loved every minute of it. If I didn’t believe Wolfe & Weaver weren’t two of my favorite authors before, I do now. Their content is so unique. Their characters are morally grey vigilantes who take on lovable golden retriever qualities. Who would have thought I’d say that about SERIAL KILLERS!?The quick, witty banter is top notch in this book. If you loved the Darkly, Madly Duet, or Butcher & Blackbird, this novel is a great mix of both. Super spicy. A touch of horror. And a sprinkle of psychology. That’s also how I know Trisha had a hand in this book. She is an artist when it comes to the psychology of dark romances. Where Brynne shines is in the grumpy x sunshine banter, oh and her love for piercings.Okay, shutting up now. Just go read this now!!!

I fell in love with this book. I love the way these authors writing styles flow together smoothly and will continue to explore different titles from both!! I highly recommend just read trigger warnings!!!

Kinda?❓”who did this to you?” …also barelyMy main frustration with this book is that it claims it’s an enemies to lovers trope ❤️ but honestly it felt like a rude MMC who fall in love immediately after the FMC drops her cover and a bomb about their lives.There wasn’t a build up or tension it was just one date they hate each other 😡 and they next day they’re both swooning 🥰.The “who did this to you?” Line was so generic and also had no tension or follow up that it felt useless. Why use the trope if you aren’t going to follow through?Overall the book was a quick read, a bit smutty, dark, but frustrating.

I’m having trouble deciding why I’m not crazy about this book. It was well written & fast paced. Not entirely predictable. It’s an interesting concept, merging the murder genre with romance. At least, merging it in this way. It really should tic all my boxes, yet it didn’t fit some reason.I have some ideas that the characters are types that kinda bug me. But obviously not enough for me to dump the book at some point. Which makes me think maybe it was just my timing. So I’m going with the ever popular, “”It’s not you Marrow, it’s me.” Meaning, there’s a really good chance if those genres appeal to you, this may be the book for you! It just wasn’t for me for some reason. But I do think I’ll like others by these authors (this was my first by them,) and that should also tell you something positive about the book. Anyway, I probably should give it a lower rating because of how I feel about the book. But like I said, I feel like it was written & everything. I can’t really identify why it wasn’t for me. But I think it might be for you & I don’t want to discourage you.

I usually rate but don't review... If you liked Butcher and Blackbird or Lovely Bad Things you'll love this too!

Foi o meu primeiro contato com essas autores e eu posso dizer que não vai ser o último!!! Gente, eu amei tanto, sério!Kyrie me surpreendeu bastante. Eu gostei dela logo de cara, a maneira como ela não abaixava a cabeça para o Jack, me fazia surtar e isso deixava nosso killer maluco. Ela sempre o desafiava, sempre o fazia ir além de seus limites e isso o intrigava demais, o deixava obcecado. Mas ela superava na obsessão!Jack, aí gente, que homem! Completamente perturbado e sem emoções, sempre vivendo por um propósito, mas quando a nossa Kyrie aparece, tudo muda! Ele encontrou uma igual, uma pessoa que o completava e o fazia questionar tudo, mas ele sempre queria mais e mais!A construção da história deles foi simplesmente magnífica, tudo sempre exalando intensidade e as cenas hots 🥵 foram absurdas de maravilhosas! Ai gente, só leiam!Vale muito a pena! 💖

I actually really enjoyed this book! It had a good pace, there was no silly third act breakups, and the chemistry between the characters was felt through the pages. Loved it!

I loved it.As somple as that.I love the chemistry between the grumpy sociopath serial killer Jack and the skinned alive serial killer Kyrie.How their paths cross. How the desire and the smell of death floats around all along the story.The danish love declarations from Jack literally melted me.

MY MOST FAV TROPE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐-She falls first and she falls harder-both are serial killers-He would kill for her but she is ready to kill and die for him 🥲😭-Not too dark like Mindf*ck but dark in just perfect amount
