SOAK AND SLEEP Waterproof Quilted Protector with Coolmax - Standard Pillow Pair

You get what you pay for. These luxury protectors are lovely - they are great to put on, nice quality zip, and plenty of room. They are thick and make even some of my older pillows look and feel like new again. Nice to sleep on, and not noisy, mind I do use two pillow cases on top as well, as I know it's not for everyone but my two small dogs sleep on my bed too. They do seem expensive, but worth every penny compared to some cheaper ones that I have. Don't know how waterproof they are, because we haven't spilt anything on them yet. Will certainly be buying these in future.

I bought this to go over new pillows I had ordered. I read some of the reviews and it said it was kinda 'crinkly' sounding when you lay your head on it...I think those people must have tinitus, cos I don't hear it, and I'm not deaf. It's a great protector, and the added bonus is it makes the pillow less likely to collapse in the night forcing you to have to 'fluff it up'. Because it's a fairly snug fit over the standard sized pillows I bought. Not quite sure about the 'cooling' effect...or at least I can't tell the difference...However, so far I haven't woken up in a pool of perspiration, and had to turn it over to get the 'dry side', so maybe it does work?

Nicely made, good discreet zip ... but they make a rustling sound when you move that doesn't seem to lessen with use, and they just aren't noticeably cooler to make up for that. After a few weeks using it, I've decided to try something else without the rustle.

I have tried other makes and never was pleased but this one seems to be well made...its very well stitched and feels soft to the head.Update....I have now got another set of these protectors because the other ones are so good I have decided to have them on the bed of the guest room

Excellent quality, however I don’t have any impact from the coolmax. I also have a coolmax mattress protector which does lower temperature.As pillow protectors they really are fantastic quality if you don’t need to cool down.

Sadly they are a bit too thick for my outer pillowcase to fit on! It was quite a fight to get the pillowcase on and then the whole thing was too firm.
