Gustaf's Licorice Ice Peppermint Bites, 1 Pound

My favorite licorice and I love that it’s always fresh.

This licorice is addicting. You cannot just eat a few of them at a time. Great flavor!

What can I say, these are my worst vice. Mint covered licorice that looks like chalk but tastes like heaven. Not too sweet and just a hint really a suggestion of salt but no question it is candy. The 1 lb sack is actually too small get the one kilo bag so it lasts a little longer.

This stuff tasted awful, it had a chemical aftertaste, I spit the first one out and tried another one to see if I just got a bad one. The second one was just as bad. I threw the whole bag away. My wife had bought a similar product from Venco Schoolkrijt and those were excellent. I thought I was buying the same thing until I tasted them. My wife thought they were terrible as well and she bought me some more from Venco.

What is that weird filler material in the middle??? There is the candy coating, the VERY THIN licorice, then the unexpected weird filler stuffed in the middle. If it's supposed to be mint, it sure doesn't look it or taste like it. More like crispy salty pretzels pressed in the center.

they never last long... they are just so tasty
