As far as plastic water bottles are concerned, these are top of the line. Had for many months, no plasticy smell from the water. Good water volume control on the squeeze.

I have bought many Camelbak podium bottles over the years. I like them. This is the first “insulated” Podium I’ve bought. If doesn’t really insulate and it’s opaque so you can’t see how much drink is left. It also hold slightly less than the non-insulated bottle. So a step down from the standard Podium bottle, IMO and not worth it.
