This is exactly what I wanted, I love how many USB ports it has, I love that this has made it possible to use my ROG Ally as a desktop and so I can comfortably play games on my TV when I don't feel like playing handheld. It is really nice and sturdy

I bought 4 of these stations and I had to return 3 right away. I will buy from a competitor this time.

This docking station does everything it says it does, although I haven’t tested the Ethernet port. My only complaint would be that it blocks the air intake port on the steam deck. I plan on modifying it so I can have the deck sit centered without airflow obstructions. But for 1/2 the price of the competition and 1/4 the price of the official product, I am satisfied.

I have been looking for a docking solution that worked for my laptop. While it says it’s for a Steam Deck, it works splendidly for my work laptop when I’m working from home. It allows me to easily go back and forth between work and home, with only a single wire connection to worry about. Your mileage may vary, but color me impressed! The build quality is fantastic as well.The only thing I’d have preferred was a modular USB-C connection rather than a fixed wire. Currently. If the wire is faulty, the whole thing will become an expensive paperweight to those not inclined to opening it up to fix it. Needless to say, the cable is of good quality so I’m certain it will last a long time.

It worked great for playing my ROG Alloy on my TV. Have had no problems using it. The dock positions the system at a comfortable eye viewing if using the dock just to hold the device.

Does it work, sure but for how long? We had this mounted on the wall in a gaming corner. The tv inputs stopped working last night (sept 8th and window to return closed aug 28th) just so you can see the timeline of failure. Fit of the steam deck vs dock is ok. It just rests on there. There is no fan for cooling. Size is good for small spaces.There is no pass through so there is no ability to use the dock for charging and a head set.Overall, if youre looking for a dock to get you by in a pinch and dont use in game chat, sure get this one. Otherwise its not worth the frustration.
