Works fine
Documation is a bit difficult to find but the boards are fine. Very versatile.

perfect
super tiny and work fantastic. If you are wondering about these, just try them out! Don't let being new or unfamiliar with code drive you away from these if you need speed control. Power indicating led is not needed or a wanted feature of mine. The price is low and I ordering more after this review.

Compact & Capable 10V Motor Controller
I really like these, good value for money, compact and very capable - just know & understand the voltage limitation before you order.

Great for Robotics Projects
These H-bridge drivers are perfect for driving small brushed DC motors found in DIY robot kits and even remote-control cars. They're very easy to set up and have clearly-marked connectors. With the loads I've been putting on these (small 6V DC motors, 0.5A), they don't heat up at all.Be aware that these boards do not come with pre-soldered pin headers, so you'll need to provide your own.

Great value - Title Incorrect
Great little board that is working well for me. But as noted by others, this board uses the better MX1508 chip rather than the titled L298N. If you need to use an Arduino library use one compatible with the MX1508 for it to work correctly. This board does not need or use an Enable signal.

Perfect for 6V hobby/RC motors
I ordered these 5V power (regulated from LiPO battery) to run the motors on a small robot/RC. It worked as a drop in replacement for a LN298, but doesn't have the voltage dropoff and is a much smaller size. The board was very professionally packaged and has quality construction. A nice breakout board.

Great for DIY projects.
The small size makes it perfect for DIY RC cars.

Only rated at 8.6v -- NOT 10
I'm not sure what the disconnect here is, but my driver shipped with the mx1616h chipset. When I view the datasheet it shows that the supply voltage/out max is 8.6v. The logic level is 1.8-5v. Unfortunately I need to drive 10v so, while I'm sure this would technically work, I doubt it would work for very long. That said, this is a still a good deal, but just know that it shoudn't exceed 8.6v if you too get shipped the mx1616h chipset. I'm just annoyed that a bait and switch was done here just to save a few extra pennies. Why is everything like this. So frustrating.Datasheet Summary - (also see screenshots)"This product adopts H-bridge circuit structure design and adopts high reliabilityPower tube technology is particularly suitable for driving coils, motors and other inductive loads. The circuit integrates N-channel and P-channel power MOSFETs to operateVoltage range covers 2V to 8.6V."

small easy to use, non standard pin pitch . great for low power/voltage motors
Its nice and small, great for tiny projects .works with low power motors .The IC is not 'L298N" , its some other one i forget the chip name, for small projects this is a better chip , only need 2 GPIO per motor , if you need reversing , 1 if not .It can control smaller motors at lower voltages very well, that the L298N chip would not .Pin pitch is non standard , cant alight with bread boards or perf boards.Power in is non standard pin pitch .while each motor channels input pins and out put pins are standard pin pitch ( the 2 wires) , the pairs them selves are not laid out in normal pin pitch . Mildly annoying if you intend to use a few in a project .I suspect they were intended to be used inline like an R/C esc , so overall pin pitch is not a issue .That said, they are great for RC projects, small projects .I will buy again .

Great product, it has MX1508 chip.
This is not L298N part. It is MX1508 instead, which is much better than L298N. It drops less voltage, and only requires 2 pins to control the motor (L298 requires 3 pins per motor). This particular module is good for small DC motors only, so check the specification and make sure your motor will be okay with the allowed voltage and current. If you need to drive big motors (above 10V and/or 1.5 Amps) you will need a different motor driver. But if your motor requires less than that, then this driver is perfect.
