This 2.85mm Rainbow Gradient PLA 2 3D printer filament offers a unique blend of vibrant colors and enhanced flexibility, making it ideal for creative projects. Weighing 1 kilogram and featuring a length of approximately 126 meters, this filament is compatible with most 3D FDM printers. Developed in the USA, PLA 2 is designed to provide excellent print details while reducing the need for extensive sanding and priming.

Awful. Jammed up printer. Returning.
We ordered this because we ran out of another rainbow filament we purchased on Amazon (which by the way created gorgeous prints) and that other one became unavailable for additional orders. We were super excited to get this filament, and incorrectly assumed the price would be commensurate with its quality. We attempted multiple prints, but the stuff failed repeatedly and clogged up the print head worse than we've ever seen from any other filament. We have a high-end printer that has had no problems with other filaments, so we're attributing this experience to this new filament. It's going back to the sender ASAP. Total bummer.

Mostly well-behaved, great adhesion, some issues with underextrusion, excellent value overall
Setup: I have an Ultimaker 2+ with a Bondtech DDG extruder installed. The prints shown in the pictures were printed using a 0.4mm Ultimaker brass nozzle.Pros:++ Amazing bed adhesion--I didn't need to tinker with the buildplate temperature at all (I had it set to 55 C).+ Very sturdy+ Color change effect++ Handles bridging and overhangs very wellCons:-- Mild issues with underextrusion**DISCLAIMER: [Underextrusion occurred at temperatures of 210 C (with a print speed of 70 mm/s). I tried increasing the temperature to 220 C, which helped, but then I started to get severe pillowing on the first few top layers over the infill. To be fair, though, the infill was VERY sparse. My aftermarket extruder may also have played a role in the initial underextrusion I experienced. I managed to fix it by dialing down the temperature and reducing the speed for the top layers, and the print turned out fine in the end.]- A minor quip, but it would be really nice if the colors changed faster, and if there was some repetition, as opposed to the gradient spanning the whole spool. Conclusion: All told, this filament behaves almost identically to FilaCube's other PLA 2 filaments. The few minor problems and quips I have regarding this filament are, in my opinion, outweighed by its price and some of its nicer properties--such as its excellent adhesion and good bridging/overhang printing (when those settings are actually used by the slicer software). All in all, a pretty darned good filament--especially for the price.

Drab colors. Too much of one color before transition.
This Rainbow PLA is not very colorful. It also does not change colors that often. I have used 600g (60% of Spool) of material and only see 3 colors in my 3D Print (Red, White and Purple). See attached photo. This was a big print with a lot of material, 3 days and 6 hours and it does not have much color transition.

Not consistent throughout roll. Drab.
Color is drab and most of the roll came out a greyish color mixed with whatever color it should be. The circumference was not consistent all the way through. There were thick sections that caused clogs and ruined multiple prints.
